    Actually, it looks like they placed a couple of piles of back topsoil in the sarlac pit.

    I've always wondered if the extended brick wall (well past the end of the stage) is an architectural reference to Solider Field. Very similar. (But better because the Fire play in Bridgeview now!)

    Why did it not take me long to think up John Guppy sitting on some throne going "Oota poota din Solo! You're Bantha Poodoo!" when a Sarlaacc pit was brought up?

    so what can the rest of us MLS fans expect from the Fire's opening match? any particular things the ultras will do? i know you have a huge banner in the works...but any other tifos?

    Well, when you go to look at the webcam at 9pm at night and it's still bright and sunny in the picture...:)

    Just checked the webcam, there working on the landscaping today (Saturday). I wonder if there falling behide schedule a little bit (They have not been working weekends on the stadium).

    They have been working Saturdays since they started putting up the steel (June 2005)
