    "Timmy Tourettes"?

isn't rather offensive to people who suffer FROM tourettes? Did you know someone named Johnny Retarded to?

"Timmy Tourette's" needs to go. Quite offensive. And I know that Timmy himself would be very angry about this.

    Josh Wolff - Wolfie

    Eddie Pope - Steady Eddie

Bring Ching - Big Kahuna (sp?)

Cory Gibbs - how about "the Gibber"?

These aren't nicknames I've personally come up with. Timmy Tourettes is a nickname that fans of Man Utd used to use (back when Howard used to get a game). It's not very PC, but it was sung with affection.

I thought Gibbs' nickname when he was playing in Germany was "Battle Spider" (no idea what that is in German).

I've also heard John O'Brien referred to as "Johnny O" (by the Stoner I think).

And then of course you've got NT assistant Glenn "Mooch" Myernick.

Bruce Arena: Brushes Sand (Babelfish translation a while back)

Didn't Arena have a nickname for Mastroeni that was "Tonto" or something like that during the run up to WC 2002?

I like the Battle Spider nick, but would also suggest Ivy for Cory in recognition of his fine educational background.

I've heard Brian Ching referred to as "the Ching-er".
I also like the flyin' hawaiian but it's not real original.

McBride has been called McHead and Bake/McBake
    around here.

Only one I've heard that's different from things you already have:

    Brian Ching: "Cha-Ching!"

(in addition to "Big Chingy" and "The Ching-er"

I believe John O'Brien was known to Ajax fans as Johnny O.

Handy that Hejduk's out, so we don't have two Deuces.

Back in McBride's Crew days, the local papers called him "Buns McBride" a lot, sometimes leaving off the Mcbride. And if memory serves, he pretty much hated the people who said that.
