    Andy,
I have the lowdown on what's going on with tickets more or less. I spoke to the people in charge of group tickets today because I wanted to make sure you guys will have a good source. I have a very good relationship with the front office because i'm a big group buyer for the youth clubs I run here and because of my position on the board of the Fire ISA. If you have any questions let me know.

And it's EXACTLY this kinda attitude that doesn't do your lot any favors.

Disclaimer: I know and have met many of the NY Blues, and they are all good people. This ain't anything personal.

I heard from the front office as well and they assured me there is a supporters section for the Chelsea fans. I need to find out WHAT section so I can get my tickets there. I think I'll wait to see what comes on this site as many of you seem to be on top of this.

FWIW, based on the price of the tickets, I don't see this thing selling out so fast (if at all). I am very, very confident we can get as many tickets as we want, all together.

Also, the scuttlebutt is that Chelsea fans will be generally in the section 133 area. This is by no means fact so don't buy tickets there. Wait for the group leaders to get everything sorted. But in general that's probably where the Chelsea group is going to end up. It's opposite where the MLS supporters will be (behind the goal in the Harlem End) and on the side of the field where the cameras will pick them up.

I need a disclaimer. 95% of the things I write are poor attempts at humor. :D Though, it does give me something to think about. If I did create a Charleston Blues, I could elect myslef as president, and that would bring me one step closer to my ultimate goal - control of the universe.

Bakker is a Chelsea fan?!? Oh yeah.

By the way, great update on the E10 site. I really enjoyed going through it.

Interesting note about "Chelsea in America" to all those interested.

You should ask if all of the regional clubs have agreed to an umbrella club called Chelsea in America?

Who runs Chelsea in America and were there elections?

no one really runs chelsea in america. it could loosely be said to be beth and andy. but no one is in charge. if you go back through the usblues email archive you can find almost every discussion involved regarding this. it's not a new thing.

i know the only chelsea related thing i have voted for in regards to supporters groups were the midwest blues. which is the supporter group for my area.

i really fail to understand why it matters and why it sounds like it's so confrontational. all anyone is trying to do is make sure we can all sit together at the chicago match.

i know texas, atlanta, midwest and fla are all involved with it.

    did you read the website?

if it bothers you just think of it as the midwest blues are helping to organize the ticket buy since andy, sean and i are working on this.
