Unlike the usualy bitch and moan from me or other posters about some player's poor or marginal play, I think Vanney and Gbandi are playing very well. I'm an original Gbandi critic, but can say that I have been very pleased with his defensive role-playing in the last couple of games. He is controlling his urge to dribble forward and also to slice people's legs off. Keep up the good work! I'm also interested to hear whether all of the Vanney's-old-and-not-worth-it apostles from pre-season still believe in their mantra. He looks pretty recharged to me and I guess the free kick criticisim is no longer valid. Happy Stebbins
In 3 games Dallas has scored 7 goals, at least two in every game. All this offense despite 0 goals from Ruiz.
Mina in shape + Cooper hot + Fish not being selfish = goals just imagine once Ruiz gets hot and ROB gets out of the boo hoo zone...
Gbandi, Vanney, and Rhine generally playing at a higher level this year. Cooper is better than expected (due in part to my agreeing with Buzz's "keep the hype down until we've seen him play" mantra). We have smoke and more atmosphere in 116, and people are diggin' it.
I'm extremely pleased to say that I was wrong about Vanney in many of my off-season speculations. He's been a hell of a leader by example back there so far this season.
