After a Saintly opening day performance by the great Kenny Cooper, and a week 2 effort by Super Sub Bobby Rhine that was nothing short of a miracle, who will provide us with divine intervention for week 3???
I want Ronnie to get back on a goal scoring tear! He's not gotten one in quite some time. And with the drama of last week... I hope he comes out and rips a hole in the CRapids!
The prophet...don't know if he's related to Tiger however. But potentially far more influential than the Easter Bunny.
I posted this in the "Bobby Rhine is GOD" thread: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=337186 So what do you all think of the "GOD of the month" idea? I think it would be a nicely received by the winner -- yes, it's a bit of a gag gift -- but it does acknowledge good play. And if we go cheap and give a small trophy to each month's GOD, then the worthy recepients could collect and display them if they like. Kinda like the stickers football players put on their helmets; but better.
That movie is greatness. I am sorry the iconic comic book imagery combined with the gritty Verità of film noir was lost on you.
how about a "none of the above" option.....or Clarence "I got a hair cut, I'll pull me socks up next week" Goodson...?? ....by the way anyone notice that he did indeed pull his socks up in the second half...??
Right on. And I've got you all beat for the worst movie ever contest. http://imdb.com/title/tt0185183/
No you are all wrong. The winner is http://imdb.com/title/tt0116209/ followed by http://imdb.com/title/tt0190641/
It's funny you say that, because my nomination for worst movie of all time is this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/im...02-0774350-4213756?_encoding=UTF8&n=130&s=dvd But it's not because of the politics that I hated it -- the script (and the acting) were atrocious. Almost laughable in their patheticness. And I thought it was going to be a big, special-effects-a-thon. Putrid. It was shite. And it was long. ("123 minutes of shite" long) It was a shite, long movie.
