For about two minutes my mood could not have been blacker. Certainly, it's icing on the cake to see Bergkamp score on the day he was honored.

I've seen Henry and Reyes have off days before, but not at the same time. It's nice to see the old hands Dennis and Bobby contribute so much to the win.

No kidding, what a fitting last goal of the match!! And Mikey REALLY is the big winner today. He gets to meet Thierry Henry and saw Bergy's goal on Bergy Day!!!

Well, I suppose that is a different way of re-inacting the scene from when Harry met Sally :p

Bergkamp and Pires scoring.... just like the good ol' days.

what a classic bergkamp goal. its almost fate he should score a goal like that on his day and im delighted for him. thats the sort of goal that sums up his career in my opinion. had it all, composure, awareness, balance and quality finish. just a shame he missed the second cos it would have been another classic. good result good day, shame the scum got 3 points tho

Curtis Davies was class today, I don't get to see him that often but that was another monster of a display; I hope Wenger was kidding when he said that he wasn't interested in him.

Henry was firmly in his pocket for the whole game.

Yeah, he had a monster game. If it wasn't for him, we probably would have had 6 goals.

We completly changed when Henry came off. We stepped up a gear and that won us the game.

True, but Lord Dennis came on for RVP ten minutes after Henry left the game. And the second he stepped on the field, West Brom equalized, so we had to step it up a notch.

as one of my mates put it, the match almost seems as if its been scripted!
the moment Bobby and Dennis came on we conceded one. then dennis assists Bobby and bags one for himself!!!!
no doubt what a fitting end... truely is Dennis Bergkamp day!!!
lets bring this confidence on to Villareal and hope we play better defensively cos phil and flamini had a couple of dodgy back passes today and eboues missed tackle costs us that goal. and Jens has got to stop coming out of the box like that it scares the crap outta me.

Great day for Dennis! It is great the he still capable of moments of brilliance. One assist and one goal on a day belonging to the great one.

Here is a treat for you all....A Tribute to Dennis Bergkamp!
