Wow....What a defensive effort from Bobby. He shut everything on his side down and saved the game by clearing a ball off the line. I am now completely on board with him playing right back. He is the heart and soul of this team. Chris Albright better stay sharp....Bruce has options...

Does Rhine get a +2 to his total for saving us 2 points last night? :D

Unfortunately, I'm afraid we may have seen the soccer equivalent to a PowerBall win last night.

Rather than say "Bobby Rhine is GOD",

I'm much more comfortable declaring him for a "GOD for a day".

We all had to believe that his constant hustle would eventually pay off. I am very pleased for him, and hope he can repeat his performance.

I think FC Dallas needs to create a Ted Eck award for the guy who hustles the most and displays team over self, seriously.

I would nominate Bobby in a heartbeat.

Hey, and we're sitting at the top of the table thanks to Bobby's tackle!

Although it was a nice play. Rhine's season long +/- is now back to zero.

Maybe we should create an "GOD of the month " honor for BigSoccer posters (or the Inferno) to award to a deserving FCD player.

Kind of like the "Employee of the Month" awards you see at companies, but even more subjective and kneejerk in nature. :)

We could even have the Posse give it to the "winner" after that month's honoree was chosen.

I think we'll need to put this up for vote at the end of April.

Maybe I can look at obtaining a small trophy that the winner could keep for a month and put in his FCD locker to show off if he chose to.

Or perhaps we could give the winning player a $6 trophy with their name engraved on it. :)

    Rhine saved them 2 points.

And he did have a better game this week than last.

He converted to right back two-seasons too-late.

I bet he'll make a good coach when he's done too.
