Anyway, during the WC, I hope that you will release all the US games in full High Definition. That would be the best for archiving. I would love to have the full HD version no matter how big the file is (anyway, how big is a 2 hour HD file? Isn't it about 10-15 Gigs, anyone know for sure?). For awhile now, I was looking for a way to record all the 06 WC games in HD but couldn't find an easy way to do it. I can do it with a HD-DVR, but that would require a lot of storage space/hard drives for all 64? games. So at the present time, the best I could do is recording all the WC games in high quality SD (widescreen) to DVD-r. So I hope you or some one will release all the US games in HD.
Looks like we're both about halfway there... It'll be the other half that damns us. Too bad there isn't more time (though I can hardly wait as it is)... Should've started planning for this last year... But it never occured to me to do so... Well, used to be we had no TV...then no soccer, then VHS, and then DVD... Maybe next cycle will be the HD cycle...
Is anyone else having trouble connecting to the tracker? Since late last night (about 16 hours ago) I haven't been able to get on the site. I've got 5 torrents I'm still working on and they one by one got disconnected as well. Here's the error message I get when I try to pull up the site..... 502 Bad Gateway I'm just wondering if there's something wrong at my end or if the server has crashed or something (which is what I'm inclined to believe). I'm panicking a little because I'm still working on a couple of torrents from which I was the only leecher and I'm worried that since I'm not connecting I'll lose my seeders. I'm still working on... USA vs Poland.ISO...................90% done USA vs Czech (1990) reseed......82% done USA vs Austria (1990)...............31% done USA vs Armenia (1994)..............30% done USA vs Germany.ISO.................75% done (These are all 4gb+ files and are taking me forever.)
Now that MAXXED FORUMS have been taken down indefinetly, where else will we get our USMNT games from? This stinks for those of us outside the US who cannot view them any other way!
Obviously, this was resolved quite a while ago, but you are exactly right - for some reason or another the tracker (and integrated webserver) crashed. Should you see this error again, feel free to PM me, and I'll get it right back up again. I don't regularly monitor the state of the tracker - most of the stuff on my server works perfectly without regular attending.
I am not worried about our games....but it is going to be tough going cold turkey with no MOTD. If anyone finds where it has been up loaded to please post.
The same place before is not like maxxed The files are huge and take days to go up, whereas maxxed uppied minutes after the game or even during and were all around 700 mbs ...sorry for being picky
Anyone have suggestions on where to download MLS games, now that Maxxed is down? I live overseas, so I can't get the games any other way...
With Maxxed down everyone will have to troll the trackers and hope they find what they are looking for. http://tracker.denness.net:6969/index.html http://www.mininova.org/ http://isohunt.com/
Now that Maxxed is no longer an option...I'd like to make a suggestion that we only upload USMNT related material to HPI. In the past month, I've seen non USMNT material uploaded at HPI. With Maxxed no longer an option, I am afraid we might see more non USMNT video at HPI. We don't need that type of attention. HPI should always be the ideal website for the serious USMNT match archiver
I'm just catching up on this info myself, but apparently they were contacted by (the EPL?) and asked to take down the links to their copyrighted material.....MaxXed responded by dumping any forums, threads, or links to anything torrent related. Oh....is anyone else having problems pulling up the Denness tracker site? I keep getting this message... Problem loading page
Not likely permanent. I think that what we're doing is apostolic. Make no bones about it. I'm just willing to let the rest of the witches burn in our name... We're more "herbal healers" anyway.
Ok, so you've been waiting a long time to use apostolic in a sentence, right Saeyddthe? Just kiddin'........ I agree........I also know US soccer doesn't care if we cap games. Why would they? I think, technically, that any ESPN broadcast would be off limits as well, but they've got their hands in so many "pots", I doubt they even notice or care. Nor should they care with any in-game adverts clearly seen....... The problem with Maxxed is about the EPL's money....that's it.... It really sucks cuz the EPL doesn't realize the potential of the market. For example: a recent Arsenal match {I believe it was vs. Aston Villa} was not being broadcast globally on any major soccer networks (for some strange reason) except for in the west side of Canada! I tuned in to a radio broadcast AND downloaded the capped match later to watch again {5-0 Arsenal, I believe}.
FYI The Denness torrent tracker was down for a while, but is up now with a Divx copy of the US vs Jamaica {2006 friendly} "I repeat, we have normality. Anything you can no longer deal with is therefore your own problem."-HGTTG Share and enjoy!
Sorry I been away for a few days... Uploaded the USA vs Jamaica ISO to HPI Includes the pre-game and halftime. Unfortunately, it cut out about a minute and a half into stoppage time (missing maybe 2-3 minutes at the end...)
If anyone could seed USA - Germany I got sick and didn't get a chance to download it. Thanks for any help possible.
I think I've still got it and will seed when I get home from work. That won't be until around 7:00 Central, though.
Just a heads up, I will be seeding the much promised WC02 USA vs Poland DivX version on thursday night. And re-seeding the WC02 USA vs Korea Divx version over the weekend (saturday probably). This will complete the entire Divx collection of the WC02. If anybody needs a re-seed of the other matches, I can do that after the Korea game. I'd like to get them all out there before the next round of USA nats games
