Some Japanese website said that 17 year old striker Ito Sho is training at Arsenal right now and will join then in the summer. Is it true or is it an April Fool's joke?

    Japan - Sergio Ariel ESCUDERO

He is Argentine rasied in Japan and has been named in U-15 Argentina NT squad when he lives in Argentina temporarily. But then he refused to play for Argentina somehow.

He doesn't have Japanese nationality yet but is determined to acquire it.

The 17-year-old scored his first goal as a pro footballer in the Japanese league Cup last month. Stuttgart wanted him 3 months ago, but of course his club Urawa refused to release him.

As for Cullen, he considers himself Japanese.
There are no reasons that he plays for Northern Ireland.
    He can't speak English.
His English grade in his school days are lower than ordinary Japanese.

His mother was a famous Dutch athlete in the Netherlands.
He is an U19 Japanese international.
He can speak Japanese, Dutch and English.

On the other side of the river... Fahed Attal has been scoring in boatloads for the Palestine NT. He is only 19 years old but has scored 8 goals in three games at the Challenge Cup. He also scored for Palestine against Singapore and in friendles against Bahrain and Pakistan. Looks like he might land a deal with Wehdat of Jordan after the tournament.

There is also Defender Majed Abu Sidu who plays for AlSalmiyah in Kuwait... He is only 21 but he is one of the mainstays of the Palestine NT.

i bet u search his name in fm2006?they made a mistake, his second nationality should be indonesia... honestly...his father is indonesian...he is still belgian but at the end of this year he should choose between indonesian or belgian.he talked to his father that he prefer to play for indonesian national team rather than belgium because he will get a better chance

I haven't seen enough of the shows but from what i've seen, #8 and #7 are very impressive kids. #8 seems to have the speed and the killer shooting instinct, and #7 got a nice dribbling in him.

    For Australia

    Those mentioned
    Patafta
-touted as a possible 'Kewell' calibre player

    Troisi
    - wouldn't say he's better than patafta (by reports anyways), me's thinking a bit of personal bias there, isn't he a few years older than patafta? Anyway, great young striking prospect

    Wesolowski
    - unlucky with injury, but definetly the most 'proven' of the youngsters, having started for Leicester in the Championship

    David Williams
    - Played for Roar at 17, touted as next Viduka, trialling for FC Copenhagen (would be a shame and a mistake to move at the moment i feel)

    Mat Sprinovic (or something)
-Promising defender that Croatia are trying to snatch

    Brent McGrath
    - Played for the Joeys at 14, youngster since Craig Moore

    Adam Hardy
    - little known about him, but 16 yo who got signed by Olympique Marseille, apparently now at Benfica B with Patafta, but can't find anything on him

Plus a couple of others with promise in the young socceroos and olympic squad - it's important to remember though that sometimes things don't always work out, just look at Coyne, Colosimo etc who were signed by big clubs at a ripe age, but luck went against them and they never got to fulfill their potential

    Stop trying to cause trouble.

Excluding Australian players, there have been 29 prospects named in this thread. 22 of them are "fully ethnic" Asian. 4 of them are ethnically half-Asian, half-European, and have spent their whole lives in the Asian country in question.

Of the other three, there are the two brothers who are half-Filipino and raised in England and the son of Argentinian immigrants who has spent basically all his life (and formative football years) in Japan.

That's a pretty good "home-grown" talent list from any perspective.

Nope, only about 3mths Patafta's senior.

No personal bias, I may support NUFC's namesake in Australia but I'm a Spurs man in the Premier League. Patafta has been hyped a lot, but Troisi has been very impressive at Newcastle for the youth team for a while now, has put in some good performances with the reserves and is considered probably the club's best young prospect. On the other hand, Patafta is still finding his feet at Benefica.

For two kids the same age, Troisi is far more developed as a player.

I hear that Japan has another half Japanese prospect in their U-18 NT.
The U-18 international is half Japanese and half Iranian.
    Can't remember his name.:(

Will become Australias new hot prospect, Neil Kilkenny, whos already played in the senior side at Birmingham in the English Premier League. Is 19 years old.
Born in England, raised in Australia, theres a big fight over him at the moment, represented England at u18 & u19 level, but has recently come out and said he wants to play for Australia, the FFA will slip him into a Asia cup qualifier against Kuwait etc.. later in the year, lock it in.
