these days most of my friends are of a more "genteel" nature....a nice way of saying they are a bunch of old bastards....but I'll see what I can do....my two sons would enjoy hanging with the inferno though.
They do allow "oldies" Me and my hubby aren't spring chickens anymore and today I am one step closer to the golden years We are library side sitters but still participate in some Inferno activities.
Keep in mind the Inferno now has a West Side section for us geezers-to-be (I'm not that much younger than you ). And, of course for the luncheon, to sit at the Inferno table you don't even need to be Inferno.
Inferno table had one ball and two goodie bags with a sticker that indicated that they had won that ball.
Oduro hasn't signed with FCD, or at least his contract status is such is that he was introduced as training with the team instead of being a member of the team.
Goodie bag had the following FC Dallas logo'ed items: a thermos coffe mug umbrella water bottle And several papers that I have not looked over yet.
Yeah, Jefe got Bobby Rhine naked and holding a sign that had the word "sucks" on it, but he is keeping that one for himself.
They spelled my last name wrong and apparently I have a sister I knew nothing about and they also spelled her last name wrong. HAHAHA It was a good lunch filled with lots of boring speeches and video of last year with lots of past players in it. I am sure El Jefe has some interesting pictures to share There weren't many proclamations made by Mud, incase you were wondering There were a couple of empty tables. The Auction stuff they had was awesome! framed autographed jerseys from several sports' teams like Modano, Pele and Ruiz. Richard Mulrooney sat with us and was very nice! He said he is shooting to play by the end of April **crosses fingers** They honored John Alper with a lame (IMO) pen and pencil set with a clock too .
I heard Lamar presided over the Jalper tribute. I wished I could have been there. For any of the 96'ers, this has to be a bittersweet moment. The offseason departures of Haynes and now Jalper leaves only Hammond as the last, original, employee. McGee didn't start until '97, although he joins Bobby as the only one with first-person rememberances of the franchises' halcyon memories. Which is scary because it means that the collective unconcious of the franchise is now majority-owned by infernites. In any event, live long and prosper. Billy, Andy, and now Jalper. Badges of honor wear they when Soccer Valhalla calls roll on those who served The Gawdz in Dallas. -bs
I wonder if the EPL team is Everton: http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/...tart-of-goodison-globalisation-name_page.html
Isn't Andy working with the new management in some role? I know it's nothing official, but he seems to be more involved than he was in the past.
I think Everton is a good guess. Isnt there some youth organization in Plano that has some sort of ties to Everton?
