It would be a big mistake for Aguero to go to Bayern.

First of all, i'm going to start by saying that Aguero is a great player and has a lot of potential to become big. But there's something about him that I see as very overrated. Especially when most of the praise is coming from his own club, Independiente. But thats only natural, the only one to gain from Aguero leaving Independiente is Independiente themselves. My argie friend just came back from argentina and he pretty much confirmed the fact that Independiente are trying to really hard to up his value. Not that i'm underating the kid, but a 17 year old is not worth this much money. I would price him at $5 million at the most. Messi is the only teenager that's worth $20 million in the world right now, NOT Aguero.

Secondly and most important, in respect to my my initial point. Aguero needs a club where he can grow. HE WILL NOT GROW IN GERMAN. Aguero is your typical South American player with flair and class that loves to dribble the ball and make plays. The Bundasliga does not fit his style of play thus it will stunt his growth as a player. Just looking at some players that hit close to home (for me), Pizarro and Guerrero. Pizarro nor Guerrero are your typical South American dribblers, that is why they've had success in the Bundasliga.
Also looking at Pizarro's experience at Bayern, and to some extent, Demichelis' (from defender at River to midfielder at Bayern), Bayern make it really hard for a youngster to grow in the way a player is meant to grow. Bayern phylosophy is to train and deliver ROBOTS, not players. Pizarro can't take a shit without Beckenbauer, Uli and Magath handing him the toilet paper and instructing him how to clean his ass. Aguero seems like the type of kid that will not conform to this kind of atmostphere. Players like Aguero need to be given that free space that they need to evolve into something big. Just look at all the players that have gone to Bayern and have become less than what they were, Ze Roberto, Ballack, Deisler (yes, none of these players suck, but i remember them being a lot better before going to Bayern), etc.

That's why I pray that Pizarro and Guerrero leave Bayern soon, so that they will be at least be able to play the way they always wanted to play and become more successful at it than they are now at Bayern. Especially Guerrero, but it doesnt hurt him staying at Bayern either since his style of play suits him just fine. So hopefully he goes to another Bundaliga team.

Putting prices aside, Cesc is not worth as much as Messi.

Any club would try and get as much as they can for one of their players, not just Independiente. But lets get real, clubs such as Chelsea/Liverpool/Inter Milan/Real Madrid/Barca and Bayern are not going to even consider paying the kind of being mentioned (between 15 and 20 million euros) for a 17 year old unless they have done their homework. They obviously have done their homework and see that Aguero is a very special talent (he has scored again today). As for who he will join, who knows, that will be down to him and his agent, but whichever club he joins will be getting a future superstar.

    oooooooooooooh perutyu lulu schniedel :)

come on, you just think Pizarro and Guererro are the worldsbest strikers but they arent they are average .

before them, there was enough southamerican striker who was doing it realllllllly well at bayern, example -> Giovanne Elber ;)

Guererro can be lucky that bayern bought him, Werder Bremen said NO to him, you should not forget this, he played this year in ONE Game good and the rest he was playing BIG SHIT .

Pizaaro says all the time, he loves bayern, he is very happy here and he want to play his whole carrier for bayern.

just because you think who know something about bayern you always hating and hating about the club , you know nothing and nothing, thats the fact.

your peruvians are not gods kapisch? they are average players and not more.
both together costed not 10 Mio thats says all, they are average.

You always hate on Makaay, he was Topscorer in SPAIN in 2003 and you say that guererro and pizarro are better UHHH .

Pizarro plays always shit in the CL and other big games, because.. he is not a big players, big players are in big and normal league games good.

MAN Bayern ca just play with 11 players but has 25 players, do you think just because you want to see your peru-schniedels, they have more chances to play ?? come on, bayern has enough good plays not just those two, everybody gets a chance and everybody can play.

Independiente's Argentine teenage sensation Sergio Aguero says he would prefer to join his boyhood club and Champions League holders Liverpool rather than German champions Bayern Munich.

Last week Bayern confirmed their interest in the 17-year-old Aguero, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or a striker, but the Argentine talent is holding out for a move to English side Liverpool.

"If I had to choose a league then it would be the Premier League," Aguero is quoted as saying in the Munich TZ newspaper.

"I have been a Liverpool fan for as long as I can remember and it would be a dream to play there.

"I watched the Champions League final and celebrated every goal as if it was for Independiente."

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has confirmed that new signings will be made in the summer and a striker is expected with the club's shot-shy forwards firing blanks this season.

With German international captain Michael Ballack seemingly on his way to Chelsea, Bayern are also on the lookout for a new creative player and chairman Karl-Heinz Rummennigge said a bid was imminent.

"Aguero has great ability and we need to make a move before the Spanish and Italian clubs join the race, otherwise he will be expensive," Rummenigge told Bild daily.

"He certainly would not be a snip but for a young player of his quality you sometimes have to be prepared to take a risk."

Aguero, contracted at Independiente until 2007, has not been capped by the Argentine national side but is still expected to cost around 15 million euros (18 million dollars).

this might be a clever choice, if he can adapt himself quickly,he might be a starter.

All this talk about Europe but don't be surprise if you see him in Brazil. I wouldn't be surprise if Corinthians pays $$$ since Aimar will be soon in France. I think Corinthians is interested in having two Argentinian strikers and Corinthians was always interested him.

Nope, Aguero will go to Barcelona, there they will use him only minutes every third game or so, then they will say he was overated and sell him cheap to a lesser club like say Deportivo, and then within a year he will become one of the greatest to ever lace up a pair of shoes and beat Barca in the super clasico and the league and the Copa del Rey:D ... sounds somewhat familiar no??;)

Yeah, the TZ knows that of course
Unfortunately there is nothing in the TZ about that topic, so either they are quoting the wrong source, or its just another press hoax from the TZ. I know, that most of you can't know this paper, but you can believe me, they have a great history in hoaxes! (last episode: "Schweinsteiger involved in betting scandal!")
I've read an interview with Aguero in which the Primera Division was his favourite league, so I honestly don't give a damn about this new rumor ;)

According to reports Bayern have offered 15.7 million euros, got a feeling this transfer saga is going to rumble on for a while yet, expect that price to rise.

It would be our second highest transfer (Makaay ~19 Mio €), Ballack,Deisler,Lucio,Sagnol,Pizarro and Ze Roberto were all pretty cheap transfers >10 Mio €)

if there was any doubt about this guy's talent, this should end it. bayern are offering big money considering el kun is 17 and has only just burst on the scene. bayern know their football and are good judges. they are a conservative club who don't throw their money around without thinking, and they want to be contenders in the champs league again so are thinking big. they know they have found a real star. but germany is wrong for him in my opinion.
