There's probably more floating around on some scandinavian adult website somewhere, but like Guinness, good things come to those who wait.

Yeah, usually I am pretty shy around girls, but this one, I didn't even care, even though I hardly knew her! I just started speaking to her...I couldn't not. And if she doesn't like me, well then at least I know for sure that I didn't let a magical chance go by.
And about fumbling, actually when she speaks to me, she seems to be the one fumbling...and I find it cute.

    :p

OOPS: I even seem to be off-topic in the 'off-topic' thread!:D

    Ha

BTW, looking at your avatar, I strongly suggest NOT looking to Van Persie as a role model when it comes to the ladies....

    Man, that pic is great.

Mourinho is such a strange coach. Last game vs Fulham, wasn't happy with the players, pulls some off at the 25th minute.

No, he is strictly a role model as a football player...hadn't he already cheated on his wife by the time he was 21? Tsk, tsk...

My favourite players or main role models are Kolo Toure, Fabregas, and I'm sure I'lll get stick for this.....David Beckham.

Btw, I don't know if I told u guys before, but Benni McCarthy's brother is in my team! He is really clever on the ball, and is always one step ahead of every1 else. Even though he is so good, it is great he is not arrogant. He is a nice guy, and we share taking free kicks in matches, me from the left and him from the right.
This season, I am also taking all the corners, and goal kicks! Man, my legs are tired. Today, in the match at one point, I had to come from my left back position, take a corner on the right, then the left, then the right, then the left, then the right, and then I had to run back to my position! Also, I am proud to say that I can take a goal kick and reach the other keeper....of course I have to not kick that far though!:p

Alright, thing is you gotta start talking to her. Skip a day of playing soccer during lunch and eat lunch with her. If your really shy see if you can get a screename and start talknig to her on AIM or something. Or ask her when her next waterpolo match is and go to it - then you can tlak to her for a bit afterwards. On her away games text her "good luck, be sure to let me know how yall did," it always works out pretty well and it gives you a way to talk to her all the bus ride back.

are you kidding me. don't talk to her on aim, you'll just look like a stalker. play it cool man, dont make it look like ur after her. i really didnt read any of the posts before this, i just opened up this topic and saw what the last guy before me posted. but just play it cool, dont always eye her. if she happens to see u and greet u, give her a warm smile and whats up. but dont go outta ur way to greet her. im tellin u man, just play the cool confident guy. im takin it that you're kinda shy, so if she sees that your confident, she wont confuse it for cockiness. peace

OK im a girl and im confused.

You need to find out if she likes you first speak to her friends and see. Otherwise you might just make a tit of yourself. Just dont make a massive deal out of it things that are meant to be happen.

    *nods head in agreement*

and even if she doesn't like you, at least you've got a new friend. just be yourself and try to get to know her more. asking her out would probably be a bad option right now, so just hang around with her at school/footy/water polo.

Dunno why, but that made me crack up!

And you're all obviously bums with the fairer sex, kid, just walk up to her, tell her she smells, call her names, push her down and pull her pig-tails!

Thats what women liked in my day....

Oooops! Sorry Benv, I fear now I've sold you out, by exposing the time honored language of man in a forum where women may learn the truth behind our actions!
I've disgraced my gender and am ashamed of what I have done!
Apps, please don't abuse this knowledge too much....

Reminds me of a girl I spent a year insulting, then dated for almost 5 years! In hindsight, dunno which I regret more, the wasted year before hand, or the 5 after.....

Quick Benvolio! Push her in the mud and she'll never suspect a thing! :D

Red & white army: How old are you if you don't mind me asking? It might affect what works best for you.

Thanx every1 for the advice, much appreciated!;)

I will rather just try and be friends with her, and if anything happens than, that is great, and if it doesn't then at least I will have a really nice friend. I'm obviously not going to impose myself....relationships are a 2-way thing.

Oh, and no way am I going to ask her friends anything...as girls usually do, they will blab it out:p

    BTW, I'm 16

I dunno if you'd appreciate advice about girls from someone younger than you so I'm just gonna agree with whoever said push her in the mud, its worked before. :)

Yeah just play it cool, but you don't want to get too close and for her to think of you as 'just a friend'. Play it cool and keep her wanting more ;)

Or pull her hair. That might work...

In interest, what player would you compare yourself to in your favourite team or any team? Obviously we aren't as good as them, but when doing something like this, you can't be scared to sound like you are bragging.

This season I seem to be a totally different player, and I've added various components to my game during the off season...you see, practice makes prefect.

Well, my favourite team is Arsenal, and I am a left-back and my main attributes is running down the line and whipping in crosses, linking up with the wings, playing 60 yard passes to my team mates' feet (practice!!!), taking corners from both sides, and taking power and curling free-kicks.
I honestly don't think any Arsenal player is like that except Reyes...a bit.

But I honestly have to say that I play like Beckham, and I honestly do not try.
