Out of all the moronic things you ahve said, this may take the cake.

And spare me your hypervenatalating, chins flapping 4 paragraph response. Pacers fans have been known as some of the best in the league for over a decade now.

Well, I guess I just need to spend more time hanging around the Brown's website.

I never said it was a "secret". I just offered to pass it along to anyone who hadn't come across it yet.

Jeez, try to be a nice guy and end up defending yourself.

    Forget it.

    Wasn't trying to be snarky.

This thread has gone to hell in a handcart fast.

Really? Man, I know I don't follow the NBA very well, but I was pretty disappointed the couple of times I've seen them play at the Fieldhouse. Before Reggie retired, it seemed like he was about the only player that really got the fans going, but it never seemed to sustain itself very long.

Maybe I expect the crowd to be as raucous (or nearly so) as a college hoops game, and that's my mistake. The college hoops games I go to (which has been a while, admittedly), I always tend to find a way to sit in the student sections. I guess, hang, you've confirmed that there is a different standard between the two. I'm sure all of you that really follow basketball at all already know this, but hoops just isn't something I follow very much. Pardon my late realization of this basic fact.

Oh, and hang, you can cut down on the hostility a touch. It's almost St. P's Day, which should put everybody in a good mood.

I haven't looked at Ticketbastard yet, but which group of tickets is probably the best value with regard to view vs. price? I'm seriously thinking of picking up some tickets for this game and taking that Friday off of work. It's just too bad that the Crew don't have a home game that weekend, then I could double up on my trip.

    And why I ask myself.

C'mon folks, a Nats warm up game within a reasonable trip and a chance to make it into a three day weekend and send the squad to Germany with some good vibes, a chance to warm up the throats for what should be a pretty damn good Crew season, signs of spring in the air, and people trying to help with tickets and travel.

Think happy thoughts, like 3-0 against Venezuela and 4-0 at KC.

Are you talking about vocalizing support for the team or the imbibing of spirits? :)

The Nats game is on May 26th, two months into the Crew's season. Perhaps you were thinking March?

I have liberated myself from the constraints of time and space and concatenate things more for convenience than accuracy.

To put it another way, I didn't check the dates.

Where are Sammers and/or Crew fans sitting? I would like to know before I buy my tickets.

I would check the Sam's Army website. That's the most likely place to find out where they'll be located.

Not so much that as it's very convienient. I got a free airline ticket just sitting around here, can crash at my in-laws' house in Westlake, and can make a house-hunting trip down to Columbus on Saturday and Sunday. Just works out well.

Just curious, did you get the from this link (http://www.ussoccer.org/USAvsVenezuela/) or is there another way to get SA tickets at this time? Last I heard people were having problems with using that link.

I just applied today, too. It told me "Transaction Declined," then charged my credit card anyway.

They didn't charge my credit card, thankfully. But it might show up in the next few days. Just got my red hard hat for this game. Gotta fugure out how I'm gonna have it painted, and the wear it on the flights from Fargo to Cleveland. Got long layovers in Minneapolis and Hell (oops, I meant Detroit), so I can walk around two large airports with two scarves around my neck and a hard hat. It's gonna be so much fun watching people's faces. :p
