I've had some nightmares like this myself. http://www.dispatch.com/crew/crew.php?story=dispatch/2006/03/07/20060307-E5-03.html
I wonder if the boys spent some time in downtown Amsterdam during that layover and if they took in the sites? Then again, they were probably already partied out after Cyprus. At least they weren't stuck in Germany. Man, I've had some long lay-overs there and there is nothing like trying to take a nap on a row of seats at your gate 7 hours before your flight and have a couple of machine gun toating policemen and their German Shepard trying to decide if you're a security threat.
I got into Columbus around 11:30 Saturday night, took a little look around for the team, but couldn't find them. I wonder what time they actually got in.
I was more scared of the hatchet-toting old dears looking after the rest rooms at Frankfurt Flughafen.
??? I can't say as I know what you're referring to with regards to hatchet toters. Is that something that can be found inside the Frankfurter Flughafen "Adult" store? BTW, the first time I walked past that when changing terminals, it kind of blew me away that they would have one in the airport.
http://columbus.crew.mlsnet.com/MLS...ntent_id=53316&vkey=pr_coc&fext=.jsp&team=coc I'm a bit disappointed by this week's update. The only bit of "news" that might be gathered is that Jason Garey will supposedly be "featured" in the game against RSL in Louisiana. That either means he's fine and his knock taken in Cyprus isn't too serious, or it just means that the press release saw that both Jason Garey and Jason Kreis were both Louisiana natives and threw that factoid in there.
