Reyna looks to play Sunday, as he has been named to the game-day squad (wow, it felt good to type that):

Excellent news for all of us. I hope he manages to find a way to play at least 45 minutes against Germany on the 22nd.

good news for Man City. I'm less happy. I think he's being rushed because Joey B is suspended. I'd rather he have another week.

For city fans, who would Pearce play with Msumpa if Reyna weren't ready - Sibierski?

Funny you should ask that freisland. It appears you have forgotten about last year's revelation, young Stevie Ireland. It appears likely he would have played with Kiki in central midfield if Reyna were not ready to go.

Thanks freisland. You're right. I did forget all about young Stevie. And him being a full international now and everything. By the way, what country does he play for after all. I just can't seem to recall ...

    cheers,

But live in Australia, on Fox Sports 2, at 12:30 a.m. (Sunday overnight/early Monday) Melbourne time. (5:30 a.m. PT/8:30 a.m. ET)

I do feel a moral obligation to chronicle this one for the rank and file here. :)

Reyna starting and Man City up 2-0 in the first twenty minutes.

See you get quick results when Reyna's on the field. :D

This game is on Wuhan if anybody has PPLive.

Two goals by the same guy in like 2 minutes. City are definitely off to a good start and Reyna started the match.

Reyna subbed off in the 61st minute. WTF!
EDIT: I was relying on the crackheads at the eurosport matchtracker. Whoops! Reyna's still on.

Given the length of time he has been out, I would be happy to get him out of there at the hour mark.

You're right Palermo10. Eurosport has a bunch of dyslexic idiots running their matchtrackers. Back to the boring old BBC version...
It's good that Reyna didn't get subbed off as that would have been a real vote of no confidence given the 2-1 scoreline.

Or more likely a vote of not 100% match fit...

Was Reyna involved in either goal?

Reyna is subbed off in the 81st min for Ireland

I'm watching this live on Skysports. Have only been watching the 2nd half and not the better half to watch as Sunderland has had most of the possession. ManCity trying to hold on. Reyna was solid but didn't do anything special from what I saw in the 2nd half. Good to see him back and getting match fit. There was one really bad tackle on him and I was worried but he looked ok after.

Sunder down to 10 men now.
