Oh my gosh, this feels like the longest day ever! It feels like I've been sitting in front of the computer for like 3 hours when I've only been here for about 1 hr & 15 min.

Our baby birdies died this weekend. Yesterday. It was very sad. Even my cat was "visibly upset" by their death.

We have pigeons that make nests and have babies on our porch. They're so adorable. And it's so cute how they trust us enough to know we won't hurt them. When we had the house painted, the painters were nice enough to take the nest (which had babies in it) and gently move it into a bush so they could paint the house. Awwww....

Well yesterday, the baby birdies were dead on the porch.

My cat kept moaning at the front door. It's so sad. Poor little birdies. And Mommy Birdie is "visibly upset" too.

I'm not sure what killed the poor birdies. Actually it was hitting the porch that killed them I'm sure. But how they ended up on the porch I don't know. Poor baby birdies.



I got a new bed today! Woo hoo! It gets delivered next weekend. I'm excited!

I wanted to get a treadmill this weekend too. But I just didn't get around to it. I'll do that next weekend.

Hmm...yeah, that's about it. I've had a very boring weekend. I had a ton to do around the house and lots of errands and sleep to catch up on. It's been very boring!

 

no offense, baby birds are cute and all, but pigeons are rats with wings.

I auditioned for the talent division of LA Models today. Supposedly, they're a really hard agency to get repped by, so there's a good chance I won't get picked up. Even so...it's respectable to just get an audition after only acting for 6 months.

 

Well, for what it's worth then, I was just informed that they are doves, not pigeons. Regardless they are adorable. Poor babies!

This weekend was fun. Friday night I went to a church's youth groups talent show/ open mic (that sounds like an awkward sentence). My friends band played, AVENUE, it was pretty cool.

Saturday I went to my sister in laws dad house with my friend and D and we had a little jam session. It was pretty cool.

Sunday I stayed home and cleaned, then I watched the Grammies. Might I add that they were weak. No one who one really deserved to win. It's a crock. It's just a bunch of industry people voting. Half of the people that should have won weren't nominated.

I honestly don't see the big deal about Norah Jones either. Dolores is a fan of hers though. She hardly rights her own music. And, yes she is a good piano player but she didn't write most of the stuff on her album, it all sounds repetitive and the lyrics aren't all that good.

People make mistakes. And my tardiness actually doesn't affect how much I learn. I don't walk into class half an hour late. When I'm late it's only by about one or two minutes, and that's when teachers are usually taking roll.

Yay we had out very first "ice day". Its the first time ever that Baylor has been shut down I think. But my organic chemistry test was cancelled today, yay, and I slept in and am about to watch movies all day today. PLus I got to drink margaritas last night. Whoo hoo, I love winter

I'm going on a diet next week! Fun, fun! I'm determined to see my abz again. But I don't think they'll be hotter than Landon's!

When my diet is successful, I'm rewarding myself with a trip to Hawaii. Woo hoo! I'd like to go next spring/summer. I'm sure I can do it by then!

That new show Married By America makes me sick. Almost as sick as that hot or not one. I can't remember the name.

Reality TV has stooped to a new level. I just find that Married by America to be degrading to marriage. I don't know, it just seems odd to me. But whatever.

It's been a long week already. And it's only Tuesday.

Last week my alarm didn't go off one day. And I have absolutely no idea why. The next day it went off and I didn't change anything.

Yesterday I set it for pm instead of am. So it didn't go off.

Last night, I checked the time and double checked. And checked the volume and double checked. I have no idea why, but it didn't go off this morning. And I was late to work...again.

I really have to find out what's going on. The only other thing I can think is that I'm sleeping through it.

I actually used math at work today. Like real math, not just the normal addition, subtraction, multiplication stuff. I actually had to figure out the formula and then work it all out. I was proud of myself. My education has paid off. It wasn't calculus or anything. But it was cool.

I like math.

If I had enough money, I would quit my job and return to college to be a math professor.

Or maybe a history professor. Cuz I like history too.

Which is dorkier? A math professor or a history professor? Cuz I'm a big dork and I know it!

I think that's about it. Cuz I haven't done my German hausaufgabe in two weeks. I really should get to that now.
