Well, bad news for you and I, Irish...no biggie because keep in mind this is simply what the stats look like on paper, based on a faulty FIFA ranking system - you must also keep in mind that the ball is round and you never know where it'll end up! Below is the calculation based on a 1 - 52 scale of the European team rankings. Just added up the total of all your teams and calculated the average. It is in order from highest to lowest. Less than 4 ranks seperate highest from lowest!

Seeing that no one has yet responded to your query, allow me to hazzard a guess: There were two drafts--one before the groups were announced AND one after the groups were announced. Those first 5 teams were your selections in the FIRST draft--and you at the very least chose Portugal, although your subsequent picks may have been auto-picked for you.
