First, I don't believe this sort of rumor for a second. Football is rife with gossip, and most of it isn't worth the paper it's printed on. This is exactly that sort. Second, Adu going to Chelsea would be horrible for Freddy. He would disappear into their development squad and never see any quality playing time. Please don't tell me there's anyone here that believes he can make Chelsea's bench anytime soon. With the kind of money Chelsea spends NO ONE makes their squad that isn't a bona fide international star. Freddy would do far better to transfer to a team that would actually give him some time on the field. A top Championship squad would be ideal, or some other European team in a position to actually need a player like him. God forbid an Italian team, I don't think the style of play in the Serie A suits him at all. It's actually hard to predict where he will land since he has an entire season to go in the MLS before any move is possible, and anything can happen in that season. I thinks he's going tio have a breakout year myself, and if he has the kind of year he's capable of his stock could rise a great deal.

I'm not saying it's likely, but if all that stands in the way of this happening could be whether some bureaucrat is having a good day when he's accepting or rejecting Ms. Adu's work permit, it can't be an impossibility for Freddy to end up in the UK before he's 18.

Which company do you think is gonna go to the time and effort to sponsor her for a work permit? Please enlighten me, and anything to do with any football club doesn't count.
Yep it is and I visit Bigsoccer every day to get know what I should do in the matches. Oh wait and I also know this because Freddy has played almost no role in the recent friendlies the one match he played in he only came on because of EJ's injury.
