Has everyone had the money taken out? My friend who I have applied for tickets with had £500 taken from his account today, does that mean anything?
just got the same thing but for only $105.63 and I applied for 2 tix Cat II for 5 different matches -- what is going on?? How much was yours charged for?
if our credit cards havent been charged, wouldnt that mean we got no tickets.. cuz all the payments would be processed in one day.. it dont take too long? arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *cries*
FEI, Anyone with a Bank of America card with random charges should be aware of the fact that someone (I believe in Europe) managed to get cardholder information this past month and has been making intermittant withdrawals from peoples' accounts. My brother had an account in Seattle and had over $3K withdrawn on separate incidents from locales such as Chicago, Montreal, and somewhere in Russia . . . FWIW. You have a couple days to wait and see if it's FIFA or not (he noticed his at least 14 days after it happened, and they credited the amounts), but be vigilant (yeah, I know that word is overused these days.) I'm desperately looking for affordable tix (up to 2 ea.) to the first 2 US games, CZE/ARG, ITA/ARG, M52, M59. I've been promised US tix after round 1 by USSF, but I'm looking for actual tickets for games that I know are taking place- much bad luck in my apps in phase I & III and USSF (they took my money for the 'iffy' games in advance, of course.)
Looks like two Cat 3 tickets to a group game to me. Did you allow for getting different categories on your application? (And, did you apply for any group games?)
I got a call from CitiCard fraud monitoring about a charge for $611 from a Travel Agent type service in Germany (they couldnt tell me exact details b/c it was pending). I think this is a good thing?
I got a $516 charge for same thing on my CitiCard yesterday (and I haven't used the card for anything the last month). It was a travel agent in Germany but they said since it was pending they did not have exact details (which I can't believe). Since the company hadling charges is like a ticketmaster in Germany, this has to be it.
My credit card was charged the following as of this AM: CTS Eventim AG / FIFA Bremen DE...........$516.01 I applied for 4 tickets each (Cat 2) to matches#: 19 (Eng v T&T) 14 (Kor v Tog) 16 (Tun v KSA) 21 (Arg v SCG) I checked that I would accept tickets in a higher or lower category if the Cat 2 tix were unavailable. I turned down the obstructed view option. Any math geniuses out there that can tell me what they think I was awarded? Q: Will FIFA fill ticket requests for 4 match tickets together with anything less than 4 tickets together to a match? ie: I have a travelling group of 4, getting 2 tickets to a match (instead of 4) would not be ideal for me. I couldn't find that answer on the FIFA ticket faq. However, I am not complaining, I expected to be shut out altogether when I read there were 6 million requests for 250k tix. thx.
