Feyenoord seem to think that Hasebe could be a successor of Ono, but my impression is that his play is completely different from Ono's. Ono's field is midfield and his specialty is good touch and one-touch passing. Hasebe's move is much more dynamic, so to speak. Although he's not as fast as wingers like Yuichiro Nagai and Tatsuya Tanaka, he often dribbles and runs into the penalty area. He started running from Reds' half, ran more than 50 meters and got past two defenders to score the last goal in the semifinal of the Emperor's Cup.

He's a defensive midfielder but focuses more on buildup and attack. His partner, Keita Suzuki, is the defensive midfielder. I don't think Reds will release a young, talented guy like him anytime soon. I could be wrong if he does really well not only for Urawa but also for the national side.

Hahaha the ultamate neutral country :D , What a difference from Isreal to Swiss, would be a good move :)

That makes sense, because Feyenoord lacks a defensive midfielder. The Midfielders we have are offensive to the extreme. So if can be the intercepting pin than it would be a good investment.

    Good luck to him

Suzuki to move to Red Star Belgrade

TOKYO: J-League giants Kashima Antlers have agreed for the transfer of striker Takayuki Suzuki to Red Star Belgrade.

Suzuki has bagged a two-year contract with the 1991 World Club Champions but the financial details are not yet known.

The Japanese media reported that the 29-year-old would fly to Belgrade on Wednesday and join the team in Cyprus after a medical checkup. Suzuki is likely to withdraw from the national team’s training camp in Miyazaki which starts on January 29 because of his new commitment.

"If I have a chance, I'd like to play for any club and get more experience," Suzuki had said earlier.

The striker is no stranger to football abroad, having played for Belgian first division clubs RC Genk and Heusden Zolder before returning to Kashima in 2003. He has scored 11 goals in 55 games for the national team and 14 goals in 80 games in the J-League, but he failed to get among the goals last season and scored only three in 25 games.

I just can't understand why seolseol's post in "Nakamura takes the 1st place" thread was edited  He likes Japanese players.

Anyway even though in previous game Nakamura played bad, overall Nakamura played very well in this season. I hope he continue to play well.

The moderating info on that post said that there was a personal attack against Gamba. And yeah, he's a supporter of Japanese football (as well as Korea and China's)... just a personal thing between those two I guess.

    Re: Japanese Abroad 2005-2006

I wish him the best aswell, he's one fo my favourite players, however strange that comment may seem. I just don't like that he's gone to europe again, it's a foregone conclusion that he won't succeed there because there probably another club who havn't done there homework on him and don't understand his game. I hope he doesn't get trouble from the skinheads :(

    Anyways, yup, carry on. :)

he did not have any vicious intention on the edited post. it was edited by one of the stupid newbie mods. me and rougou were pointing at power_of_shits post which was deleted later so now it looks as if we are pointing at seol's edited post.
