any teams in Orleans or near Piemonte, Italy?

Orleans - because I'm originally from New Orleans

Piemonte - near the French border and apparently my Italian Great Grandfather moved to France, got a job on the Panama Canal and ended up moving to Honduras.

So any help in finding the right local clubs would be great.

I wonder if Briançon have a team?

I remember stopping off there when we went to Turin.

    Nice little Alpine town.

I think its more a hockey town though.

Doesn't seem to... I think they'd have about 10 delayed games due to a frozen pitch every year if they had.

What's the closest lower league side to Douvaine (small town near Geneva, Switzerland)? I know some people that live there.

    Thanks.

Here’s an update since last time.

First of all, winter wrecked havoc in the schedule since most clubs are ill-prepared to face horrible conditions.

    CFA-A

Pierre-Henri’s Schiltigheim & Pierrots Vauban, both from Strasbourg, are doing just as good as the big boys in their table. They are still both 16th & 17th with only one team that could realistically caught up. Ouch…

    CFA-B

Tony the French’s Frejus are in a big time slump losing 3 in a row with two of those at home. They are now heading toward the relegation battle with only 6 pts up on the first relegation spot (and that team has two games in hand)

nach0king’s Gap have been hit hard by the winter times (4 out of the last 7 games pushed back to another date) Hum… could playing high in the Alps be a problem come winter??? ;) They too are in relegation trouble only 2 pts ahead of the relegation zone, but currently have 3 games in hand.

Also, Racing Club 92, another Paris dream failure, is actually rounding form (2 wins, 1 draw in their last 3) and could actually save themselves

    Bottom of the CFA-B table

Rank – Team – Pts – Games played
    8 Jura Sud Foot 45 18
    9 Montpellier B 44 19
    10 Fréjus 44 20
    11 Besançon 41 19
    12 Lyon Duchère 41 20
    13 Gap 40 17
    14 Bourg-Péronnas 40 20
    15 Endoume 39 20
    16 Monaco B 38 18
    17 Sochaux B 32 18
    18 Racing CF92 31 18

    CFA-C

    panicfc’s Orleans 0 – 2 Montreal United’s Andrezieux :D

Great news!!! Andrezieux, my beloved little club, has managed to win 2 in a row… Impressive since they are wins 3 & 4 after 20 games in their season. They are now out of the relegation zone!!!

panicfc’s Orleans are doing pretty good in 5th, but they are too far for promotion hopes as Yzeure are 13 pts ahead. Thanks again for the points… :)

    CFA-D

A new leader has arisen. It’s Paris FC. Another hope of bringing a second club to the capital in the higher leagues… and another failure. In the 90’s, lots of money was spent on the club with little results other than relegation to CFA according to the history on this website http://perso.wanadoo.fr/narboni/parisfc.htm (I could not find an official website)

However, could this be the season where the dream starts to take shape? Well, they had an undefeated month of February with 4 wins and this could lead them to promotion. They have a 7 pts lead on the next club aiming for promotion (Rouen)
