Both will start. Reading on a 27 game streak in league without a loss (did lose to arsenal in carling cup a month ago).
Reading come in with 69 pts. they finished the last two seasons with 70, just outside playoffs. As Convey noted in an interview this week, Reading is not letting up, but do realize that, if history holds, six wins in their final 18 games would probably see them automatically promoted. Marcus noted that a championship on top of that would be "another level."

The royal box, the Reading broadcast nickname, is about to air an interview with "the yank on the flank." I'm guessing they mean convey.:)

Game is on, back and forth. Marcus springs Doyle on a breakaway, a very common thing this season.
In the interview, convey was asked if Americans would soon be taking over the English game (reading with two, and szetela in training/trial). He said clubs are now very aware that there is good pickings in stateside, and bargain pickings at that. He said a a lot more US players would be coming over if the work permit situation was more easily dealt with. "It took me two years to get mine," he said.

Game seems back and forth. 4 minutes in. Reading get a free-kick from 30 yards out. Little takes, to the keeper. Nothing from Convey thus far.

Illness. He's scored five goals in nine games, that's the only thing that could keep him out of the first 11.

Shorey breaks in on the left, cuts it back to Kitson, whose header flies high and over. reading starting to attack, constantly. We;ve seen (okay, heard) this a lot this season. Reading are on the attack. Announcers are noting that Coventry are trying to play open and attacking. On cue, Coventry cross, Stern John heads down forcing a strong save from our marcus.

10 minutes in, 0-0, btw. Convey has yet to be invovled to any degree. Little is screaming at the ref, trying to get booked almost, as his wild gesticulations almost nail richard Duffy.

In Readings last 18 games, they play teams from the bottom half of the table in 7, so top half in the other 11. Just a bit of info. What you'd expect from someone with a + next to their name.;)
Steve Staunton, new ireland boss, is in the audience to watch doyle and someone from City's.

Still scoreless, Reading with the best overall pressure, Coventry with the best single chance so far (nice save from MH apparently).

Convey on the ball. Not much, but moves it back to the middle to gunnar. Can't have been his first touch, but wasn't much beyond that. he's had a couple since now, though. Kitson from a narrow angle, off a chip from Doyle, tries to lob the keeper, poorly. Convey was wide at the back post, "if he'd rolled it across, it could have been a tap in for Convey."
    16 min, 0-0.

Announcers are noting that the pitch isn't up to usual standards. Lots of games, both football and London Irish rugby.

Convey makes a nice run, whips in a cross, half a yard in fron t of kitsona nd doyle, "if someone had just thrown themselves at it, it would have been a goal. but it was fizzed in, they would have had to throw themselves at it."

Maybe he has seen Convey's games from MLS and wanted to spare him the embarassment.

Nice cross in from BC after a quiet spell, just needed any body part to get on it to turn it in apparently.

That was classic convey. This is the new recipe.;)

Glen little charges in, sounds like a classic Little run, taken down on edge of box. free kick. right of central. Shorey to take, they say, but Convey is around. Adie Williams, old Reading hero and captain, is carded for taking little down.

24 minutes in, 0-0. Reading have more pressure, by a wide margin thus far. But conventry are getting a few decent chances. Little again trying to get a fifth yellow on the season.

Convey picks the ball up midfield, starts a nice attack.
ends in tears, a whimper against the dark (actually, the blues).

Hahnemann takes a free kick that ends up forcing a save by the other keeper, as it keeps bouncing through. pressure forced the keeper to knock it out of bounds for a reading throw.

30 minutes. 0-0. Convey was being held by Scowcroft, elicting jeers from the crowd.
Reading are rampant. "for the first time some sustained pressure."
No goal, no shot on target, really, but a lot of pressure.

    Convey handball.
Coventry with a bit of pressure, ends in a free kick outside the box after a gunnarson foul. Free kick sails high,
    34 minutes, 0-0.

Shorey forces a save on a 20-yard shot, keeper drops, "just scrambled away."
    Reading back on attack.

Convey runs to edge of box, shot is blocked by adie williams.

    About 40 min. 0-0.
Reading have been in control, but conventry are dangerous in bits and pieces.
Shorey crosses, kitson heads just over the bar.
"The problem for Coventry at the moment is that they've often got no midfield."
