I know these are early drafts/suggestions with more solid ideas to come, but right now, i'm really liking the top half of each scarf. Put the top of scarf 1 on one side, and the top of scarf 2 on the other. You'd have to move some stuff around (say "we're on the march.." goes up top, and the dates/teams go in it's place) but we are gonna end up with some really sweet designs. Basically, the "World Cup 2006" and the "DTOM" designs could use some work.

Well, I got that right from the FIFA web site . In any event, it's just one design element, and can always be corrected and changed.
Agree - in fifa.com it's officially: FIFA Fussball-Weltmeisterschaft Deutschland 2006. Its shortened form: WM Deutschland 2006 The Confederation Cup was: FIFA Konföderationen-Pokal 2005 Pokal(cup) is not nearly as important or impressive as Weltmeisterschaft(world championship)!
Once a design (or two) has been settled on, and orders have started to be taken it'll take about 4-6 weeks to produce them. Add in another 2 weeks or so for shipping to me and then repackaging and shipping out to all of you. I am thinking they'll be in folks hands by early to mid-March. Of course this all assumes that Evan, myself and all the fans settle on a design or two by the middle of January -- which would be ideal. With the holidays and Evan's schooling things have been a bit hectic the last few weeks. Next week we'll really start to nail these things down.
Here's another revision (I really like this one): This might just be one of a few final designs to be put forth for consideration. I'm thinking all white fringe on the ends for this one, as it would contrast nicely with the red. The Magpie

Not a bad design. The one side is more of a "historical" side, and the other is the present. A very good idea. After all, aren't we planning on "taking over" Germany this summer?
O.k., here's the plan: between January 10th and the 17th I'll come up with two to three final designs. I will then submit those for voting here, with the one getting the most votes being selected for eventual production. I think you hit the jackpot with the one that has "Fussball-Weltmeisterschaft" on one side and "Don't Tread on Me" on the other. Plus, it's red too (another plus in my mind). I'd say go with it!
How about an offical World Cup Soccer ball behind the snake on the Don't Tread on me side? Whatever the design, I'm buying at least two! Beautiful work.
