Wow, this thread shot off to bizarro land in an instant. We now have the return of The Person Whose Name Shall Go Unspoken after Bill (of all people) so unwisely spake her name and thus did call her forth.

She claims to be a changed person which is possible: age, maturity, getting your emotional teeth kicked in from suffering endless rejection in the LA acting scene and all. Not to mention dealing with all the political crap and endless sucking up to small fish trying to get to the bigger fish. It is possible that she is different...HA, geez I humor myself.

Now we have cryptic messages from some guy claiming that he is using a false user name so as to cover his tracks and protect his identity for some strange reason that only he knows. Using this rather odd scenario to claim that he has a long standing history here and has a rightful claim to dislike, and even despise TPWNSGU, so that he can unload on our little annoyance.

But without any substance to the claim I would have to say that I agree with Bill. No cheap shots for you chief. The Diva may be something of a pain but at the end of the day she is our pain.

So now in the most unholy of unholy events we find ourselves defending TPWNSGU's right to be here.

I honestly am a different person and yes, it is maturity along with becoming less self-centered, tackling personal demons from my past and having to, for the first time in my life, truly fend for myself in life . Can't just hop in the car and drive home to the parents an hour away when i needed something like I could do when I lived in Columbus. I'm really not a "diva" and I've considered changing the screenname (and probably will if I decide to stick around, though I'm still up in the air at this time)...Amy or Aimer does quite nicely. thank you

That would be the same question I had. If the money is there now why hasn't it been there the past three years?

The only answer I could come up with was that there was just too much baggage that went along with any deal that AEG was putting together. The liklihood that this new discussion is all just political smoke and tap dancing sounds far more realistic.

It seems that the politicians in SJ are really an amazing lot of jerks. Not because of the lose of the Quakes but the way they handled it. Why not just come out and say that this isn't going to happen - ever, give their reasoning and get it over with. Or put it on a ballot and let the people vote it down. This gives the fans closure and ends the discussion right then and there.

What is going on now just strikes me as more of the usual 'No we don't want you around or to deal with you, but we don't want you to not pay attention to us either' political bull.

I am afraid that if the SJ fans have any hopes at all it is that an angel of the magnitude of Lamar comes forward bringing the cash and kahunas to put the whole package together himself.

You know what would be great. With NFL owners suddenly becoming so interested in owning soccer teams what is Al Davis decided that he wanted to mess with Lamar and the Kraft's and buy himself a team. Wouldn't that be fun.
