Alot has been said about the best players in the world. We´ve all eaten, swallowed, regurgitated... and back again, our personal opinions of the best players in the world today. We all know who, where and even how they play.

    Forget them.

I want to hear your opinions on who is that special player, that for 45 minutes is a demon on the pitch. The guy that burns his gas so hot, that he has to be replaced or has to replace a another player so the team gets another addrenaline shot.

    The 45 Minute player.

    Who´s the best out there?

In my opinion right now (today), there is no one in the world that can beat Lionel Messi in that distinction. For you Messi supporters...sorry he´s not a 90 minute player, yet. For the rest of you...Who´s your pick?

    Your thoughts.

C Ronaldo is great for the small amount of time that the coaches will let him play, but they always know when he is going downhill so they can pull him.

i agree, his speed and mastery of the ball cannot be matched with any TIRED defender--------> see Portsmouth game.

Martins played very well as a sub. He caused a lot of troubles with his speed. Owen probably would be suitable as well. In general, all fast and small players are ideally for 45 minutes or less.

Well, these are as I believe the players that can make the biggest difference in the World Cup by coming on the 2nd half:

1 - Pires - The frenchman has proven time and time again to be able to change games in just 45 minutes.
2 - Robinho - Can demolish any defender with its dribbling and has high chances of creating free kicks and penalty kicks with it's magical dribbling skills.
