Interesting how DC is the only city to bid for the Founders Cup. I wonder if they have an unspoken agreement w/ the other teams not to bid?

I think the game would draw well if it were held in DC.

That wasn't my impression from talking with the Freedom rep at the Crusaders meeting. We expressed our surprise in particular that the CyberRays weren't interested in hosting the Cup, but she said they were after the All-Star Game.

She seemed to think it likely that FCIII would go to a non-WUSA city, which I and the others there thought was a bad idea.

(DC has bid for the Founders' Cup every year, incidentally.)

The All-Star Game would be phenomenal in San Jose. I know Home Depot was in the running for it.

I wonder how FC3 would fly at Home Depot?
