I havent been posting as much this year here due mainly to the inconsistancy of our team and also the fact that I have better things to do. Plus my noble adversary Coach McGurk has given up his gambling habits.
Yaaay, group hug with a bunch of boys. My lucky day Seriously, I love reading this forum. I don't post so much on the actual football, cause you guys have a way of breaking things down much further than I do. I don't understand how you manage to watch every player on the pitch on both sides, judge the formation, analyze style of play, tune out the god-awful FSC announcers, and manage to post witty and intelligent comments all at the same time. Don't be offended if we mortals just read along and post in the occasional group bonding threads. And thanks for making a girl feel welcome, and not dumping on my silly comments too much. By the way, Johno, just noticed your sig. Alls I'm saying is, if having a crush on RVN is wrong, I don't wanna be right. . .
I'll try to nudge my way into this hug. I've really enjoyed posting here in the last 7 months, let's just hope this next year treats our team better than this past one. Cheers!
I know I don't post on here that often but I always enjoy reading the posts of so many other die hard United fans. And now for something completely different, On the first day of Christmas... CANTONA!!!
Please, please post here more often. I couldn't take it if this place turned into a total sausage-fest.
Good idea for a thread, I've been thinking about this for some time now, I'm very glad to have this forum and share it with all of you guys, I don't normally get to hang out much because I've been so busy but I know I can always count on going to BS and seeing something worthwhile. The topics covered this year have been awesome and I've gotten to know each and everyone (well almost) of you through them, from the fergie-bashing thread, to the favorite movies, to hottest chicks to the thread about nothing, it's been great. I won't mention any names because I'll probably forget someone and I don't want anyone to leave anyone out. We've got quite the characters on this board and I'm proud of it. And Graeme, don't worry your forum is cool too, it's not your fault that less people choose not to support Newcastle p.s. I love the Newcastle history thread.
Yeah, I've been meaning to have a word with some of you peeps for bashing MANUTDGAL so harshly as well. I know that not everybody has the... "talent" for posting on message boards. But we need to try to accomodate as much diverse opinions and people as we can, so that nobody feels excluded. Now granted, there are some we wish would go away and never come back, but newbies and lurkers who come by and see a person's efforts to contribute flamed so harshly - they might be put off and we never get to enjoy what conversation they might add to. We were all noobs at one point. Being the first to flame a new noob does not impress me either. Other than that, I got nothin but love for most of you scallywags.
Your initial flaming of my original posts made me into the fine and upstanding poster that I am today. Cheers guys!
glad to have ya... bit of trivia... in Mr. & Mrs. Smith when Jane makes her first kill in her dominatrix get up, the dude looks like Ruud.
You know who else looks like Ruud? Austin Reed on "Days of our Lives" (Actor is Austin Peck, yes same first name as the character) Freaky.
When you are married and the wife likes to TiVo shows during the day, you start to notice things like that... you start clutching at anything to keep it interesting. The character has like 3 blonde hottie chicks chasing after him right now... Go On Ruud!!! GET IN!!!! LOL!
As long as we're going off topic, is anyone else disturbed by the Manchester United "water bottle" in the BigSoccer Shop ad on the top of the page? What's next, the ManU "back massager"?
I guess yelling that is better than my "Come on Rio, elbow'em in the teeth if ya have to you f'n pu***!"
And yet, you know the actor's actual name, and have large glamour shots at the ready. . . interesting . . .
Definitely a good group of posters on this board. I don't post nearly as much as I have in years past because, well, life just gets busier. My passion for United remains undeterred, though, and I enjoy reading intelligent and humorous posts from others who feel the same way about the club.
