I haven't been physically attacked by dwarves since the late 1990s, so if the buck stops with Bush, he's to thank.
Prevented another terrorist attack on US soil? hahaha. How can we know that the terrorists wouldn't stop anyways. Exactly. I now return to self-imposed exile.
For the answer, set to a compendium of the cheesiest hard rock hooks available, I give you, "Bush was Right" http://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~dwong/nov 26/Bush_Was_Right.mp3 (I could only make it through the first verse, mostly because of how annoying the guitar riff is).
My business was beginning to feel neglected. I had to stop with the Bigsoccer addiction for a while. But I will return when soccer heats up again and (hopefully) my business is well under reign. Until then, keep up the good fight Matt.
The question topping this thread has me stumped. Is it a trick question? I'm thinking here's a guy who can't even keep the toilet seat dry. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/blog/2005/11/28/BL2005112801032_pf.html
Why he's done exactly what he wanted to do when he decided to run for president.MAKE THE RICH RICHER.
Well according to this prominent Democratic Senator and Vice Presidencial Nominee, GWB did well in leading us to the Iraq war, http://www.opinionjournal.com/editorial/feature.html?id=110007611 But maybe he just hasn't realized the truth yet.
literally millions more cell phones in Iraqi hands than before What is it with the warmongers and their bizarre-ass obsession with cell phones? The jackass that used to do the "Good News In Iraq You're Not Hearing About!" crap for the Vince Foster Journal opinion page was also constantly yammering about that. I'd have to eat five bowls of All-Bran before I'd give a ******** about that - is there some possible significance I'm missing, besides simple clutching at straws?
I don't know if it's a real song (in that it lacks melody, is incredibly annoying, poorly mixed, etc.) but it's not a parody. The group's name is "The Right Brothers." They've apparantly played the Support the Troops rally-thing on 9/11 and the Georgia State Republican Convention. Here's their website. http://www.therightbrothers.com/index2.php
1.He prevented the Al Gore criminal enterprise from stealing an election 2.Dispatching the Taliban 3.He prevented the lunatic John Kerry from occupying the oval office 4.He exposed Dan Rather and CBS as the heart of the dishonest liberal biased media 5.He routinely makes wingnuts like Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan and Loney go insane with rage 6.John Roberts, but the jury is still out However, besides Iraq, his biggest failure is that Barbara Streisand and Alec Baldwin and Mike Lastort are still living in the US. If he wasn't such a weasel, they'd be outtahere.
He acknowledged that our nation was ALREADY deeply involved in Iraq; furthermore, he realized that the status quo (punitive sanctions that impose deep suffering on the civilian population while simultaneously keeping a genocidal regime in place) was untenable. He is willing to shake up the status quo in the Middle East, and appears to be pushing for real change in occupied Palestine. He has recently re-engaged in Bosnia, pushing for a more just constitution and leaning hard on the Serb leadership to cough up their beloved war criminals. The increased AIDS funding has been mentioned, as has his attempts to soften his party's hardline stance on illegal immigration. For all his faults--and there are many--he seems to be a fundamentally decent human being; something you could not say about Bill Clinton.
2. Really? The folk in Afghanistan might disagree. 4. Huh? I don't know that he really had much to do with that besides being the subject of the story.
Ok, I had to stretch to make it a decent list, but he did the Taliban thing pretty well. If the savages want to throw in with the Taliban again, we can't make all their decisions in perpetuity. We'll just have to budget for another country-flattening in the future.
1. Gore won, get over it 2. His half-assed follow-up has brought them back 3. Lunatic? You must work at Loews, with that much projection 4. The info in the memos was accurate - Bush ducked the Guard 5. Seeing as how everyone loved Clinton, right? 6. No one knows who that Stepford Justice is, apart from being Karl Rove and Dick Cheney's sockpuppet - if that's your idea of an ideal Supreme Court Yeah, Streisand still walks around free. So does, to pick an example at random, Osama Bin Laden.
This is why I can't hate dubya. Just when I've decided that he's an incompetent frat-boy weasel who can't even spell "conservative," guys like Loney pop up with heads exploding and I know that he must be doing something right. I'm just not smart enough to figure out what it is.
might just be a hunch on my part, but this does not sound like the best of reasons to think he's done something right....nor did the previous 6 you mentioned......
