Roy Keane announced his retirement from Man U today.

While these are the Metro boards, in light of everything going down in the Turkey/Sweeden debacle and our lame showing for the Cup. I thought a moment would be in order.

Not in silence or anything like that. Just say the man's name out loud today. Whether you follow EPL or not, this ladies and gentleman is a real footballer.

    Roy Keane.

Try it. Just say the man's name out loud.

    thx

Metros first "Marquee" player under the proposed rule? Would be nice for little Bradley to learn under him for a year or 2.

He was saying "Keane" but thinking "Stoitchkov."

Onion and Ray Hudson have this thing for hairy Bulgarians.

Turkey played Switzerland, and that still doesn't mean that Roy Keane has anything to do with Metro or MLS.

    Thread moved.

I had a turkey and swiss on whole wheat while watching Keane play on FSC before an MLS game. Does that count?

Would he go abroad or stay in the EPL?

You may not like the guy's personality, but he was a great footballer. I would think a Juventus fan of all people would understand that. ;)

I would think if he keeps on playing he would stay in England. It says here Portsmouth wants him. Pompey interested in Keane

I really am not in favor of Keano coming to the Metro's. I think it is once again a chase for a name not what we need. If it is a name we need make it a GOOD backline guy.

you, my friend, have your priorities WAY out of wack. No one cares that an Irish turd named Roy Keane who could play a game very well retired from his team. If you'd like someone to worship, come over my house and we'll shove crucifixes up each other's poopers.

If he can't handle the management and players of ManU, I doubt he will be able to handle a relegation favorite ;)

Roy Keane would be one of the best players for any team around the world. He is still that good.
