Good for him-welcome to the New Millenium David and it could not have been for a better cause!

Good cause. Certainly looks less of a drug dealer without it.

Seeing Jens on the TV recently I think David ought to give it to our mad German, he looks like he could do with a bit extra on top

Props to him for giving it up for a good cause, but he just doesn't seem the same without it.

Funny the Beeb wants him to lose the stache. I guess he could make it look better, but he has a serious case of an upper lip MIA, which usually necessitates a stache.

I saw this Crispin Thomas poem the other day and thought it was appropriate for this forum. I think we've finally reached the point where this has been taken too far.

Where Were You On The Day,..?

seen some changes down the years
had some laughs and shed some tears
    loyal steadfast without fail
you and that old pony tail

    dodgy crosses England games
    you alongside all the names
when they tot up all the best
    Shilton Clemence and the rest

    Cech Bonetti Yashin too
one great landmark comes in view
    like the sun-rise without fail
    David Seaman's pony tail

    gone forever snipped away
    every pony has his day
    cried while watching on TV
    such a price for charity

sad how life can turn so pale
    without Seaman's pony tail
