.....I would welcome back Campbell. I know many wouldn't, but I would.

Why would you want Scumball back?? He would be sitting on the bench until King or Dawson got injuried anyway.

....all I have to add to your stupid comment is that you are stupid also.

If Campbell came back to us now and played like he is playing, I would drop Dawson in a heartbeat and play Ledley alongside his old pal in the heart of the defence.

If there is anyone who wouldn't swap Campbell for Dawson due to any sentimental issues you may have, then I can assure you that you wouldn't make a good manager, but would rather end up like Pleaty, wearing the same old dirty pull-over day after day.

Has no one told David that he has egg stains on it?

I wouldn't swap them now, Campbell is on the way down and Dawson is on his way up.

    Fully agree.

I also think a prime Dawson will be a better defender than a prime C*mpbell. Dawson is certainly better than C*mpbell was at the same age, much better concentration and controlled aggression.

Arsol imo has had is day as well. Sol from 3 seasons ago would be great, the current Sol is just an old Poof. Dawson and King, out CB partnership for years to come.

Your surname wouldn't happen to be Pleat now would it? :p

....I only ask because he couldn't spot a decent centre-half either.

    interesting choice of words, jaymes.

you see, mr pleat's problem was that he couldn't spot ability in a centre-half, and i will gladly acknowledge that sol campbell has ability in ample supply. but decency is a different attribute, alltogether. and any spurs fan worth his salt will tell you that mr campbell is conspicuously lacking in that quality.

a better question might be whether or not you have the ability to spot an indecent centre-half. ;)

...unfortunately not. I only possess the ability to spot the best attributes in players.

I leave 'the ability to spot an indecent centre-half' in the possession of my minions.

Sol Campbell is a no-good dirty, rotten, whore beast!

He will only ever be welcome back on Gods own turf (WHL), if we run out of holes for the corner flags, whereupon he will be called into action to lie down there, and I will personally shove a flag right up his arse. What would be disturbing is his yelps of pleasure drowning out the crowd.

    He is a vile fiend.

well, if, by chance, your lofty status should allow you the opportunity to bring sol campbell back to the lane, your might want to consider how your 'minions' might feel about it.

...y'know, in the same way the louis XVI and nicholas II should have considered their minions.

    ;)

if any of you know.. real madrid will have a new sponsor benq mobile.. i think.. i read that siemens will sponsor shirts for real in 06 tho.. but is that for 06-07 or 05-06 season??

if siemens is only for 05-06 season i think siemens is a good possibility for the title sponsor at the lane.

.....I rule over my minions better than any Richard or Nick have in the past. I give all of you the freedom of speech do I not? I also give all of you my own precious perls of wisdom, which, to be honest, will make great bedtime stories for all of your younglings. Just ask Graeme.

That's a plus side of playing in white - siemens stains don't show up as clearly.

    well, we're a fickle lot, aren't we?

after all one's done for us, one might still be mistaken to think that the wrong sol campbell-related move couldn't result in bitter recriminations. just ask sol, himself.

    ;)
