Reading play QPR today, and Convey reveals in a pregame interview that Reading right now are trying to win as many games as possible. Not sure he should be giving away secret team strategy like that, but here he is, on the match. http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10306~736666,00.html He also mentions that he won't be playing against Scotland because he needs the rest.
Wow, a novel strategy indeed. Good thing it's not state secrets, or Bobby's butt would be hamburger for Fitzgerald's grill for revealing such sensitive stuff.
Game starts at 10AM, Convey and Marcus start. You can find ET game times at espn under soccer scores.
Reading: Hahnemann, Murty, Sonko, Ingimarsson, Shorey, Little, Harper, Sidwell, Convey, Kitson, Doyle Subs: Stack, Hunt, Oster, Makin, Obinna
Well considering it was announced yesterday that he wouldn't be playing for the USMNT with a groin strain I'm surprised he played at all.
This is no huge surprise, but my audio isn't working (internet barely is). should be about 10 minutes left, is it 1-2?
Reading overcomes Convey's careless exposure of their strategy and gets a good win. I hope Convey's injury isn't because the coach kicked him in the groin after revealing the strategy. I'm sure the Sun will have a story on it.
Reading are keeping up a pace that would see them finish the year with more than 100 points, and still finish second. Of course, in Coppell-speak, they're nine points from relegation safety. The break comes at a good time, big and little injuries are piling up. But it is something to look at this run: Reading have yet to lose on the road (only one loss this year anyway).
I never said he played bad, I said "not the best of games from Bobby it seems" That's pretty much what the commentators said.
