Quite a surprise really...after reading all that smack from Quake fans proclaiming themselves to already be the 2005 champs. Afterall, who cares about the US Open Cup when you win the MLS Cup?

Nope. There are only two spots now. We have to win the Western Conference if we want to play in Europe.

Or, well, Central America.

Thanks.. I knew it was only two spots but wasn't sure if it was one for winning the MLS cup and one for the Open Cup but I guess they wouldn't want to give a way for a Rochester or Portland to find their way into the CCC..
