If Collins John is fit, I think we may see a 4-4-2 for this match with McBride teaming up with our Dutch striker.

That would leave us with Boa, Jensen, Bouba and Steeeed in our midfield and N.Jensen, Goma, Boca and Volzy in our defense.

Boa owes us a good game. He has had moments of brilliance but has not had one of his typical MOTM performances from last year. Come on Boa, lead our team to three points this weekend.

Side note: If we play a 4-5-1, take out McBride and put in either Leggy (make leggy the defensive midfielder and push Bouba forward) or, dare say it, put Radz in and hope he can finally put one in the back of the net.

2-0 FULHAM. A superb team effort!!! What a match for the boys, we deserved three points and got them.

A great way to remember Johnny Haynes.

Right on, Mike. I hope we dedicate the rest of this season to "The Maestro".

I was following through BBC live text, so our midfield config was a bit confusing. Could someone help me out? T'anks.

Last week we played with Christanval as a deep midfielder playing in front of the defense. This week it was Diop doing the job:

    Crossley/Warner

    Volz Goma Boca N. Jensen

    Diop

Elrich Steed C. Jensen Boa Morte

    John

WHITES OVER REDS!! WHITES OVER REDS!!

As much as I like the attacking 4-4-2, like i said after Charlton, the 4-5-1 with a CDM in front of the back 4 works well for us so far. I would much rather see the entertaining 4-4-2 with BMB and John up top. I suspect this 4-5-1 will be used against the L'pools, Chelseas, and Arsenals for the rest of the year with the 4-4-2 being used for the Birm Citys, Pompeys, and Black Cats of the world. Way to go Fulham and I must throw this in : Where are the Coleman haters now that he has shown an ability to adapt as he is learning his trade? I was apalled at the prediction that he'd be the 1st manager gone when the season started. I think Cookie is a good fit for us and will keep us afloat.

COME ON FULHAM COME ON FULHAM

Very glad to hear of this result. I just wish that it had been on TV in the US!

Congrats to the Lads. Well, we got 4 points from our last 4 matches. Not bad, as I worried we'd be lucky to get 1, and we're as of Saturday in 14th place. Now we have some breathing room.

A fitting farewell to the Maestro. The man played his entire pro career at Fulham. He was one of a kind, and he'll always be a White. 56 England caps, captain of the 1962 England World Cup team. He played 658 matches for Fulham from December 1952 to January 1970.

    Thank You, Johnny Haynes
