vs Liga Betandwin.com - Week 8 23 October, 21H15 GMT Live on Last encounters SL Nacional 2-2 FC Porto SuperLiga 2004/2005 SL Nacional 0-0 FC Porto SuperLiga 2003/2004 SL Nacional 1-2 FC Porto SuperLiga 2002/2003 SL Nacional 2-3 FC Porto Liga Portuguesa 1990/91 SL Nacional 0-3 FC Porto Liga Portuguesa 1989/90 SL Nacional 0-1 FC Porto Liga Portuguesa 1988/89 Nacional is in 2nd place after 7 weeks, still undefeated, and the club has already stated that their goal for this season is to secure a place in next year's UEFA Cup. So far they have been looking very competent, not just at home (Sporting already lost there) but also away. And lets not forget, last year, in 2 games against Nacional, we got 1 point, scored 2 goals and allowed 6 (!), including that humiliating 0-4 result at home. So i'd say we got something to play for, other than just the three points.
my team -------------------Baia------------------- Bosingwa---P.Emmanuel---R.Costa----Cech ----------------Assuncao----------------- ----------Diego-----------Lucho---------- Quaresma------B.McCarthy---------Jorginho We need to keep playing Quaresma he is really starting to become a great allround player Id still prefer Lisandro instead of Jorginho but its almost a good balanced team Also whats going on with Meireles and Postiga
FC Porto's Call-ups: Keepers: Vítor Baía & Paulo Ribeiro Defenders: Bosingwa, Pedro Emanuel, Pepe, Ricardo Costa & Cech, Mids: Paulo Assunção, Raul Meireles, Lucho Gonzalez, Ibson, Diego, Jorginho, César Peixoto & Ivanildo Forwards: Alan, Quaresma, Hugo Almeida & McCarthy
Nacional will be without Patacas and there is some doubt as to whether Andre Pinto and Bruno will be ready to play: Bruno e André Pinto estão em dúvida no Nacional para o jogo deste domingo com o F.C.

I seriously tried to watch but I just can't. The Nacional chants are so bad and annoying. I hope they NEVER expand that stadium god forbid we had 30,000 voices doing those chants. BTW: When did Nacional change their logo to make it look like a mixture of some random Brazilian team and Manchester United?
Nice goal by Hugo Almeida.... Amazing cross by Quaresma...it was half a goal...Porto deserves the lead.
Yaaaaawn...Is it over yet? I was quite impressed with Almeida he played a good game as did Assuncao... A win is a win I guess.
approx. 3,000 at Nacional Beira-Mar 8,000 vs Gondomar check the link http://media.putfile.com/fa-aveiro
Come on it wasn't that boring We played well in the 1st half but the tempo slowed down considerably after Almeida scored. Anyways, I'm happy. Co is starting to get things together and getting 3 points in Choupana is not easy.
I think there were only 4,000 in Barcelos today too and then there's Setubal who can't even pay their players. Honestly, I think the relegation system isn't the best way of doing things in a small country.
