I think both teams are roughly equally difficult/easy to beat, but KC doesn't play on turf. That's all the info I need to prefer facing KC.
I don't think it matters, team-wise, which one we play, but for player safety I agree that the less turf, the better. But I'm cheering for Chivas, today, for their own sake. They have a chance to clinch 5th place in the West!
I'd like to have the satisfaction of taking out the Mutts at the Razor in front of the busload of their fans that will drive up.
KC for two reasons: 1. The Revs have struggled on turf this season. 2. I'd like to see Preki for the final time.
Playing on Turf sucks Mutts with new coach are playing better I NEVER want to see Rat-Boy and FAT TONY again. KC is having a poor season KC midfield is weak KC plays on a real soccer surface I'd like to see Preki play his last match
New York. KC is the better team. It's always more fun beating a team from the Big Apple, or nearby swamps.
Watching the first half of the Metros/Chivas game, I would like to play the Metros. Metros are playing like they don't want to go to the playoffs.
BTW, is anyone else annoyed the way Wynalda is calling this game? It's like he's coaching the Mutts and screaming at his players. Maybe he'll bring the gametape to the interview. This, combinded with the usual superfluous sideline interviews during scoring chances, is making it tough to watch.
I'm actually enjoying it. He ripped Guevara in the first half and it was 100% spot on. Controversial commentators are always better then cliche boring commentators.
If, by controversial, you mean ranting about a play or what he thinks is going on in a player's head or writing on the damn screen all the while there is a game going on that he is completely ignoring? Then I have to say I do not like controversial announcers. With soccer, a play can develope in an instant. It's imperative that the color guy makes his or her comments concise. I hate watching a scoring chance develop while listening to someone talk about something else. Very distracting. Oh, and was he as hard on the way Chivas was playing in the second half? No. Like I said, it was like he was coaching the Mutts today. I expect that out of Shep on MSG. Not from an ESPN announcer.
