    Exactly.

People keep on saying we aren't true supporters when we complain, but this is serious.
People keep saying it will be fine, but unless we do summin, we're skrewed.

We can't just say that because we were a top team, we will come in the top 4!

Not a time for panic buttons, but European qualification is becoming a slight worry.

Well - we are going to be struggling to be in the CL next year if we keep this up. Tough one to lose, but with all of our injuries I can't say I was expecting us to do well.

I'm just concerned that if we continue to play poorly that TH14 might decide to take one of the other clubs up on their offers and go.

We've got a CL match coming up let's hope they change things around before Tuesday.

This is really frustrating to see them playing like this, but we have a long way to go in the season and we are still in a position to place top 3.

Heads up Gooners - Henry & Campbell will be back soon and the tides going to turn.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being pissed about the way we are playing. All of us have high expectations and the team isn't playing up to them.

It's no different in any sport. It doesn't make you less of a supporter at all.

I think it's good to get the frustration out. I just hope AW and the team really know how we are feeling and that they need to make some serious changes soon.

Not exactly the start I was looking for in the last year at Highbury either...

I wouldn't get too worried guys. You massed with injuries right now. You're one point back of a CL spot and two points out of second place. You also have a game in hand on us. You are having a bit of a bad run right now but I wouldn't paint it out to be as bad as people are. You'll definetly win a European place. You're still in the CL. You have a good squad, just riddled with injuries right now.

    FROM SKY SPORTS:

Arsenal's title aspirations were dealt a telling blow as they fell to their third defeat of the season in a 2-1 reverse at West Brom, leaving them floundering 14 points behind all-conquering Chelsea.

Dennis Bergkamp's 400th game for the club was conducted in a disparately different fashion to the glorious years he has enjoyed at Highbury, as a Chris Kirkland inspired home side prevented Arsenal from shining.

Despite Philippe Senderos's opener Arsenal failed to push on, and Kanu's strike was added to by a sensational winner from Darren Carter as Bryan Robson's side earned a well-fought and unlikely three points that will do their own hopes no end of good.

Arsenal's young side missed the quality and composure of such players as Gilberto, Thierry Henry and Sol Campbell, but they started in a comfortable fashion with a patient passing game in the face of a resolute West Brom formation.

Their gentle probing bore fruit on 17 minutes as Bergkamp's close range effort was deflected over the bar by a sliding Paul Robinson.

From the resulting corner Senderos battled with Curtis Davies as he arrived at the back post, and the Swiss stopper beat the Albion man to the ball as he volleyed home from point blank range.

Now searching for a way back into the game, West Brom could have gone two down just a minute later when Freddie Ljungberg found Bergkamp in space on the edge of the box, but the Dutch master's lofted chip was turned over by Kirkland.

Both Mathieu Flamini and Ljungberg failed to call Kirkland into action from wide on the right, but the former Liverpool keeper looked sharp when at full stretch to block Robert Pires's curling effort after good persistence from Bergkamp.

However Arsenal failed to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and the home side, shifting Geoff Horsfield up front to partner Kanu, began to grow in assertiveness and provide a real threat from wide.

Paul Robinson worried Jens Lehmann with a dangerous half-volley that just eluded the right hand post before Lauren had to be on his toes to deflect a Jonathan Greening cross away from Steve Watson.

Bergkamp was allowed in by a lack of awareness from Neil Clement although the experienced forward could not find a way past the onrushing Kirkland and the tide was turning decisively in the home side's favour.

Senderos was called into action as he hacked away a threatening cross from Robinson, but the youngster was not so lucky for the equaliser as his clearing header from Albrechtsen's centre found Kanu in space in the box. The Nigerian showed no mercy towards his former employers by bringing the ball down and driving smartly past Jens Lehmann.

A physical first-half saw Watson walking a tightrope after seeing yellow for an over-the-top tackle on Francesc Fabregas, and Arsenal's injury woes deepened as Swedish winger Ljungberg made way for Emmanuel Eboue.

West Brom again tested the nerves of the Arsenal defence early in the second half as Kanu headed wide from another Albrechten cross, and The Gunners were clearly missing the calming influence of Campbell at the back and the attacking voracity of Henry as they struggled to find their rhythm.

When they did find a path to goal Kirkland was invariably ready to repel the attack and the excellent England man pushed an ungainly volley from Kolo Toure round the post before rushing out quickly to smother the ball at Bergkamp's feet when Reyes's ball eluded the West Brom backline.

The Spaniard was having another frustrating day in front of goal and could only offer weak attempts from two set-pieces, an effort from outside the box was stronger but still wayward.

The Gunners continued to exert pressure but Kirland was an inspiration, and he served notice of how he has flourished during his loan spell as he showed great agility to stretch a palm out to deny a vigorous effort from Fabregas.

Wenger's side were employing their tried and tested methods but even a trademark break could not do the damage as Bergkamp cut back and curled over.

Although the tide of the game was against them West Brom then dealt Arsenal's title aspirations a major blow as Lauren's challenge saw the ball fall to substitute Carter on the edge of the box.

The former Birmingham man staked a claim for a more prominent role with a glorious goal as he controlled with his chest, allowed the ball to drop and then fired a spectacular volley into the top corner to leave Lehmann clutching at air.

The Hawthorns was bouncing, and Arsenal's frustration was clear as they saw their season slipping away from them.

Reyes again wasted a free-kick in a good situation as Kirkland gathered easily, and things could have been even worse for Wenger's men in injury time as Lehmann parried Nathan Ellington's shot from a tight angle.

However it mattered little as Robson's men held on to record a famous victory that will raise serious questions about Arsenal's potential this season.

Little soon to say that, I think. Winning the league doesn't look good, and if we can't get people healthy we're in big trouble. We are a deep squad in terms of potential, but in terms of experienced bodies to put out there we are terribly thin, and it's biting us in the ass right now.

Winning the league didn't look good before the year even started.

    C'mon Champions League!

I'll put money on Henry leaving next summer if Arsene doesn't sign at least one established player in January.

Typical. Bloody f-ing typical. We boss the play, get snuffed by a MoTM keeper and surrender on a cannon shot against the run of play.

All hands to the pumps, folks. I can play a bit of midfield...I like to play on the right too...maybe I should give Arsene a ring?

I was actually thinking if we continue to play the way we are, that Henry will leave in January.

I'm still not happy with our signings this year. I know there'd be a time it was going to get us and it seems to be happening now. We really don't have the depth we should to win games with injuries.

I would hope that Henry would at least give Wenger the chance to fix the problem before deciding to exit, considering what Arsene has done for his career.

I agree, but his career isn't getting any longer and trophies look like they'll be in short supply for a while.

Bad loss but not completely unexpected. We've been unable to score from open play much of this season. We've struggled under numerous injuries to key players on a squad that was already looking thin in August.

While winning the league is looking quite unlikely  , we still have much to play for this season. We have enough quality in this squad to secure our CL play next season despite some of the panic in here. We are doing ok in the CL and still have the domestic cups to play for. Relax. Take a break until Tuesday.

We'll be playing a Sparta team that is also having trouble and have just fired their manager, have fallen down their domestic table, have done nothing in the CL this season or last season, just lost to Thun, and loaned out their captain for the season. We'll have Gilberto and possibly Sol and RVP back.

maybe we should play some of our defenders as forwards and we might score more.
