You can try to spread propaganda about whether or not there was any persuasion but that won't hold up cuz you have no concrete facts. You're team is not good enough face the facts. ;)

Holy Sh!t. I was at the game last night and it was so sad that the Guate finally put a nice game together (with only 2 major defensive screwups) and it didn't even matter.

I don't know if this has been mentioned but about 30 minutes into the second half they announced that Mexico had scored and tied 2-2. The place went nuts. Only about 10 minutes to full-time did we realize it was an error.

Wow. Great goals in that game though.

Guate has no one to blame but themselves-they were tied with CR at Saprissa in injury time and they blew it-they gave up late goals in Port of Spain too.

    Oh well, thats football.

Guatemala had a good effort last night. TnT did what they had to do and earned the playoff. Congratulations to both on their wins last night.

Well...horrible game for us last nite, i think CR realized that they were playing a WCQ game around the 60th minute, right before Jafet Soto showed usthat he will not go to Germany.
    congrtas for the win guates!

BTW Sorry that Trinni also won....

Antiplayer of the game for Costa RIca

Jafet Soto Molina, that was his 50th chance and and his 50th failure with the NT, he only plays good for Heredia or Morelia, every other teams that he has played for, he has svcked big time, sorry Paul51 i know you love that fvcker but he is the worst.....

T&T has played that long ball crap for years now, especially against superior teams, but in in our last few games we've finally gained enough confidence and organization to improve the possession play. Noone who watched TnT/Mexico could say we played typical long ball.

And your comments sound like thinly veiled racism....genetic black athleticism...typical african team? I guess all predominantly black teams lack any skill, technique or tactical awareness...and I guess most African teams play the same soccer....well said Einstein

If you read my comment correctly i stated " technically I am cuz of my father's background". Is that not possible?

Chris birchall's mother is Trinidadian and his father is English. Even tho he's born and raised in England do you not think he would be recognised as Trinidadian also.

In Jamaica, the Government recognises anyone born outside of Jamaica to Jamaican parents as Jamaican. Doesn't matter if your dad came from Guatemala, Costa Rica, USA or England, you will automatically be entitled to Jamaican citizenship. :p

    why is that warlord?

that guy scored more full on bicycle kick goals then anyone else in the concacaf ever had in there career

he did it in a important game vs CRC last wedsday and he is bout lead his club to there 1st Mls cup and his Second

since 2002 he has had 61 + goals not including lamar hut, and play off goals

and doesnt play all of his game due to NT duty and injuries when he is healty and in form he is ALMOST God like

he just turned 26 last month
    and pezzarossi is 25.
guatemala got it in four years
with Mario loco rodriguez (23) giving them spectaccular crosses

he been on the men senior NT since he was 20 and
he's 26 and internationaly has surppased what most player has done in 15 years

MLS is more competitive than it was in 96 - 2001 so the arguement that MLS is an easy league is just stupid

To be quite honest the intensity exloded during the thread for the Trinidad-Guatemala match. Warlord provoked, Guatefussball lost it, you added some slight jabs for good measure and it kind of spilled over into the Guatemala-US thread and the Costa Rica-Trinidad.

Hey its all good. You've actually been one of the most gracious guats on the board since the results of the 10th matchday. Once I don't hear that lame JW/Mexico/Honduran referee/the world against Guatemala excuse I'm ready to let bygones be bygones.

Buena suerte por la copa proxima, Guatemala, Vibes it up against Bahrain, soca warriors.

That is nice Stats for MLS standards but on an international level has he carried Guatemala on his back when they needed him most?

Has he helped qualify them for a world cup yet? Has he even played in Europe?

He has not proven proven anything else but that he's good in the MLS...and quite frankly how good is the MLS?

Overall like I said he's good for the MLS and if that's good for you guats then so be it.

He might make highlight reels and score fancy looking goals in MLS but that's it for the guy. MLS is NOT a good league at this point.

Ask yourself this question.....why is it that he played in Greece, and no other European team went in for him after his contract was up?

If he was that good he would've already been snapped up by a decent team in either the Bundesliga, Premiership, La Liga, Serie A or the French Ligue 1.
