No doubt hearts are doing well but they will never last the pace of the SPL, they will lose to many games at ibrox and parkhead, probably even easter road, lets face it the title is going back to the auld firm as usual and i couldn't say who will be the better team this season cause they've both been crap recently

It depends how long they can keep their first eleven fit and on the pitch, and how long the initial run of form will go on. I don't see the run ending this week.

Just back from the battle and, while Hearts were the better team and deserved to win today, I can't see them being top of the league in 6 months time. They simply haven't got the squad to stay ahead the whole season.

I'm not sure the Old Firm has a squad that really deserves to win either--Hearts with this squad in any other year--I wouldn't see them winning or splitting, this year, maybe. Much more likely to split the Old Firm methinks.

Well, they always got these crap international players. Now come January they'll have to start being shrewd and get good international players. Hearts is making them work, props to them.

Also, Hibs in 3rd with 16. They definitely won't win the title, but a good Edinburgh vs. Glasgow feel.

well, i still think the title is heading back to glasgow this season but i think both edinburgh clubs could create a real force over the next 5 seasons if they spend wisely, more to the point i can't see hearts in the champions league next season so logically i don't see them splitting the auld firm but i think they would do well in the uefa cup if they gota good squad together

Nobody in Glasgow gives a ******** about Edinburgh. Sadly, most Old Firm fans are too busy baiting each other/being bigots/being paranoid to worry about the other side of the country :D

    Explain please.

Where is Skacel going in January? You obviously know more about Hearts than the club themselves. (he is here for the season mate and you better get used to it)

If our small 1st team squad can hang on until January (Burley already has 3 players identified ) there will be a lot of arse twitching in the west :)

Hearts seem to be the real deal, and the way Celtic are playing at the moment we'll struggle to get a result against them. Strachan needs to
be showen the door at CP as soon as possible. I know it won't happen
    but one can hope.

Hearts have started to stumble with the draw with Falkirk. Now Celtic can
go top of the table by beating Hearts in two weeks. First getting the boot
from Livvy in the league cup and now this lastest setback with Falkirk,Hearts
are feeling the pressure and can't cope.

    Hello JimTim.
Even with a hopeless ref and a linesman called Murphy, you still failed.......:)

This is shaping up to be an interesting season.

Will Rangers finish in the top half? Let alone the top two!

This season is a lot more interesting because Rangers and our selves are dropping silly points all over the place. No disrespect to Hearts but they
should have not left Celtic Park with any points on saturday, we were
all over them and except for Boric's error in goal we would have had the 3 points.

Sorry to infiltrate, but one of my best friends from university was a Hearts fan. I thought that I would post, because the fact that Hearts are at the top of the table at any point of the race is, well, impressive. I think it would be good for SPL for a team other than the Olde Firm to win.
