Tiboni for Italy is running around after the US like he wants to get a card after the game is over. No card it appears.

Besagno has ice on his ankle and crutches after the game.

Not the smartest thing to say after you just got an a$$ whoopin. He must have consulted with the Mexican coach.

I can't say -- he's a local kid, and I know one of his relatives.

Liked what I saw of Arvizu and Zimmerman, though.

There should be at least two suspensions after review. The jackass who kicked the US player in the Italy box, and that fascist little punk #9. How could both these guys possibly get away with that crap? You know without even a question US players would've not been given the leniency these little punks were.

I want to extend my congratulations to the U17 team on the win and commend the team on keeping their cool. I know it was not easy. Italy embarrassed themselves not because the got beat but due to the fact that they showed their ass over and over again. The United States dominated one of the best footling nations in the world. It could have easily been four or five to nil. A star was born today in David Arvizu. A great job and a special thanks for showing class in skill and in attitude.

How rad. But i also gotta say that Soroko's celebration after the third goal was quite gay. but then again i suppose i can excuse that now that they have made my day.

I also managed to see the season premier of both Arrested Development as well as the new Swedish Paradise Hotel. what a day.

Actually it was the Italian player's parents. No wonder the kids were so upset.

C'mon, they have to follow in their idol Totti's footsteps--they just have to work on their spitting.

Italy in the 21st century are a disgrace to world football at ANY level. Their senior team plays like a bunch of hacks and cowards, as well, despite their talent.

They lack athleticism and creativity and are trying to make up for it by being petulant, thinking the world owes them something, when in fact it has long ago passed them by.

This is not even to mention the Italian league, where match fixing is the order of the day, they didn't even know every team in the league until the week it started, and there's a new coach every week at Cagliari.

    Pathetic.

i love how all these italian players are signed with Sirie A clubs and they blow, the future is looking bright for us...Its amazing how we can compete and beat countries in soccer without a large chunk of our premire athletes playing soccer.

and to think,,,Adu and michael bradley technically could have played in this game
