50 points, and he sat out the last 7 minutes of the game. Thats insane! Especially when you consider the fact that HS games are only 32 minutes long.

Do you have their number? I would like to order a few cars from them. Just a few? No more than 5.....

    Lebron James.......he's no Darko Milicic.

Just kidding, I thought I might give him some recognition, since David Stern won't let him be in this year's draft, because he won't be 18 in time for the draft eligible date. Experts say he is as good a talent as Lebron, especially for a center.

    Here's Chad Ford's article about him;

Why the Europeans are catching up to the Americans:

"Milicic's coach doesn't run plays for him, the guards dominate the scoring and Milicic spends most of his time setting cross screens. Coaches in Yugoslavia love control, and Milicic has been largely a victim of his own success.

These days, Milicic is just trying to keep his demanding coach happy. The restrictions on him clearly frustrate him. His coach has told him to quit shooting from beyond the arc. During one game, he took and made a 3-pointer with the shot clock winding down. His coach pulled him from the floor during the next stop in action. Darko spent most of the remaining time on the end of the bench.

Milicic isn't complaining. "The coach is trying to make me a better player," he said. "He's trying to establish me as an inside player. He tells me the shots there are easier. He's right."

    Gringo,

That is certainly one reason why European nations are not just catching up, but passing us. Another has to be just the sheer numbers of people playing basketball in those countries. Much like soccer here in the U.S., we are getting better internationally because so many of our kids start playing soccer at a young age.

Numbers game that is catching up to us in hoops and helping us in soccer. Sounds like a fair trade to me, eh?

    Dear Mr. James,

You need to be careful with the person that gives you your Hummer.

    Sincerely

A bank in Columbus acknowledges they gave Gloria James the loan to buy Bron's H2.

I'm trying to find their number, cause I want one too. And unlike Gloria, I even have a job.

In the link, Coach Dru wants to make it a "class thing" - that "people of his station aren't supposed to have these things"

Leaving aside whether what he's really talking about isn't "class" but "race", if what he's referring to is the fact that people without jobs "aren't supposed to have" Hummers, he's right. That's because they, like Gloria, can't pay for them.

Dru sounds even more disengenuous when he says that "other parents give their kids cars" and that "Gloria felt she had a right to do this"

It's not a question of "rights" coach. It's a question of money.

15,000 people see LeBron in N.C.

Man they really turned out this time to watch LeBron play.He even wore a pair of Jordan's and everything.I think Julius Peppers took a little too far though by calling it the experience of a lifetime.

They just havent made the right rule yet. It'll be interesting to see how many states/HS conferences install the "no loans based on potential income" violation that the NCAA have.

    LeBron in the news again.

Looks like he might be under investigation again..

    http://espn.go.com/nba/news/2003/0130/1501536.html

Personally,I don't see what the big deal is.He does need to be a little bit more careful or he might put his team's season in jeopardy.

Let us remember Kobe's first season in the league. He lived with his mom!

LeBron's mother seems less able or willing to keep her son on planet earth.

For awhile, I've been thinking that his mom is one of the main problems. From what I've seen of him, he seems like a nice enough kid, but his mom spends all of her time being obnoxious during games and counting down the days till payday.
