Albania is all green. So are a few other countries. FIFA should open those seats up for those who can pay for the tickets
My guess is that allowing people to buy tickets to see Albania does not affect your ability to buy tickets to see a more likely qualifier.
Might as well relax and wait for the next sales phase or the ussoccer.com sale. I think last week's availability was just an anomaly.
Got an email from the FIFA Ticket people yesterday confirming my change of passport number, this after initially supplying them with my Soc. Sec. #. Now just need to get info. on wiring them the $$$. The Magpie
Looks like Scammers are at at it again, so be careful!! Bd FIFA warning about fake ticket lottery 7 September 2005 by OC 2006 FIFA World Cup FIFA has warned the public about an email scam involving the promise of winning FIFA World Cup™ tickets through a special lottery. According to the world football governing body, members of the public have been receiving emails informing them they have won tickets for the Germany 2006 finals via a FIFA World Cup lottery. However, FIFA stresses there is no lottery linked with next summer’s finals and that anyone receiving such an email should ignore it. A FIFA spokesman said: “FIFA has been made aware of electronic notices sent to individuals regarding winnings made through a so-called FIFA World Cup lottery. FIFA wishes to clarify that neither FIFA, nor any of its subsidiaries or the Organising Committee for the FIFA World Cup are organising, endorsing or associated with any lotteries. FIFA wishes to advise all recipients of such notifications to disregard such communications.”
when is the next sales phase and how the hell did i not know about this last one?,....I need tickets and will sell my brother for them, he's really nice...help
This is the response I got for the same question: Single match tickets will be available during the third sales phase from 12th of December, 2005 until 15th of January, 2006. More specific information about this third sales phase December, 2005 until 15th of January, 2006 as well as about for which country tickets will be available will be published directly before in a press release. If you applied for tickets during one phase and did not receive any tickets, your application will be deleted. The applications are valid for the applicant as well as for the visitors mentioned in the application only for one sales phase. If you would like to apply again within a new phase, in order to simplify the data entry, you can log in with your E-Mail-address and password in the Customer Self Service area. Your personal data entered in a previous sales phase will be saved in there. Yours sincerely Your 2006 FIFA World Cup (TM) Ticketing Center
I still haven't received my second email from FIFA with instruction on how to pay. I'm doing the band transfer from a US bank. Anyone else get info on this?
Nope. I, like you, am still waiting. I'll wait patiently, though, since I know it's only a matter of time before USSF puts out their allocation.
Same here. It's killing me. But you have to remember, the whole concept of what "a few days" signify in Europe and in America are two totally different animals. And that goes double if you're a New Yorker like myself. At least that's what I tell myself.
I was lucky enough to score a couple TST-6's...I put in my MasterCard Debit Card and FIFA took my $1204. in less than FIVE MINUTES!!! It took US Soccer forever to take my money for the Mexico and CR match!!
The charge went through instantly on my MC, too, although I woke up the next morning to discover a second temporary hold on the card for the ticket amount. I got wicked paranoid, emailed FIFA in a panic, then read my credit card info again and realized that it was just a thing MBNA does with international transactions. The temp authorization has since disappeared, leaving me with: But my husband's in the waiting for bank transfer details boat, too; I've heard rumors to the effect of 6-8 weeks for them to get that sent out. You'd think they'd be more eager to have everyone pony up the cash...
Couple of questions.. If you get a TST-3, do you guys expect you'll be able to buy tickets for the USA in the round of sixteen and beyond? And, if you bought tickets in the same price catagory as other US fans, I think I'd want the cheapest catagory 4 for example, will you be placed with other US fans, or is it random seating? I'm trying to buy a single ticket and want to be among other Americans. Thanks.
The few people I have spoken to that have TST-3's seem to think that tjey will be able to score tickets for the knockout rounds when the US advances... FIFA is not offering a TST in CAT 4(behind the goals), most everyone that got TST's are in CAT 3....I assume(hope) that FIFA puts all USA fans together...thus the question that was asked on the order form...Who do you support? Regardless for "where" my seat is located....I'll be where the most RED is I'm hoping to pick up some tickets for other countries matches as well...but I don't want to screwup my USA TST order....maybe someone that has been emailing FIFA regularly can find out IF/HOW we can buy single tickets, for USA knockout games or other countries matches if we already have ordered a USA TST......
For now (I have TST-3 cat. 3), my plan is to try for knockout round USA tix in the December ticketing phase. If that fails, I will travel to Germany for the group games and see how security is at the gates (i.e. can you get in with a ticket from a scalper/ebay etc?)...if it is lax I'll hunt for tix from a scalper or online (most likely online). But the most secure and best way is to try in December for the single game tickets...surely they'll have TST single game tickets available (or some mechanism to assure you'll be able to see the team you root for, as long as you get the tickets).
What if a supporter from another team tried to sell you his/her TST-(>3) ticket because they didn't advance and USA did. Would that work, or are they really serious about only allowing the person who bought the ticket in?
The way I read the FIFA ticketing guidelines, If you purchase a TST series ticket you CANNOT purchase single game tickets for any other team at any other time! OR the previous application will be VOID... I hope I'm reading that wrong and I'm sure someone will point that out As for security, several people I've talked to that went to WC02 said there would be NO WAY they could check every ticket and they didn't even bother to spot check tickets in '02... As for selling tickets...If someone offered us an absurd amount of cash for our Semi-Final tickets I'd have no problem selling them...unless of course the mighty US advances to that point.... Then they're PRICELESS
Well he would be kind of silly since he would be watching better teams, and would probably have already booked enough lodging and airfare to stay the extra week or two... But I'm guessing they are even stricter (more strict?) when it gets to the later stages.
