Yeah, that was me and my wife. And that was pretty good place to catch the match. Will certainly be back.

Yeah it was a good time. Nice to see a few other people there as well. You and your wife seemed like good people. I'm sorry I wasn't more polite and engaged in some 4th wall breakage but I didn't want to say to you, "Hey are you the guy from the internet?" thing. I may go to watch Wed. game as well if I see ya there again I'll buy ya a beer.

Funny moment while we were watching the game. I'd gotten frustrated because I thought that Reyna was holding the ball too long in the midfield. Then I said, "Wait that's not Reyna." I think your wife said, "No that's Ralston..." "Oh, atta boy Ralston!"

I'm a big fan of saying I can't wait for the American Soccer community to get off the internet and onto a barstool. I'd never really had the opportunity before to chill at a bar and watch a game like that with like-minded people. That was very cool.

No problem! I'm sure we'll see you there again. If I'm not on the phone with Verizon trying to get my d**** dsl connected, maybe we'll stop by tonight.

i was just at kitty's last night. i know a few of the staff, and asked if they'd put on revs games and they said they would. the problem is when there's a boatload of sox fans and a competing game, but even then, kevin said he'd put a revs game on--all you've got to do is ask. best guinness on the north shore too i think. anyway, i'll be there for the next revs game, so hope to see some more people there.

Are the few TVs at Kitty O'Shea's large enough to support an unexpected group of, say, 20 to 25 supporters comfortably, or would everybody be scrunched together on tippy toes trying to fanagle a glimpse of the match? Also, they turned the volume up, right?

I only saw 2 TVs, one at the near end of the bar and one on the back wall of the room. For the Mexico match, they had the game on the bar TV-Sox were on the other one. No TV sound for either, music (CDmix?, Satellite?) piped through the speakers. I'd say 25 people would fit, but most would end up standing, especially if the match was only on one screen.

i'd say 20-25 people is pushing it, but not out of the question. on a saturday for a 9:30 start you'd be out of luck (college crowd streams in for 9:30 bands), but a 4 or 7, 7:30 start and i think you'd stand a fair chance of getting tv, sound, and about 20 seats. it would be great to turn kitty's into a revs-watching bar if they'd let us--i'm going to do my best to get there for the columbus game tomorrow.
