It's recruiting time in college football land and internet boards are having a field day with this poor kid's name. I believe the kid has an interest in Syracuse and even the fans there are finding it too easy. Imagine having to grow up with a name like that. OK, maybe you can't do anything about your family's surname, but at least give him a different first name. http://syracuse.rivals.com/showmsg.asp?fid=1370&mid=12529118&sid=&tid=12529118&style=1
HAHAHAHA I feel sorry for that kid but man I am going to have to check out the radio and TV coverage of the games for whatever college he "plays" for.
I read that's he's a linebacker and running back. If he were a WR, you'd hear things like "Pusey's wide open!" and if he does play running back in college and gets hit hard, "Linebacker lays huge lick on Pusey!" or "DB pounds Pusey into the ground". Seriously, this kid must've gotten into a scuffle or two while growing up regarding his name.
This is absolutely classic. He has to go to SU now, if for no other reason, so that for the next four years I can turn to my alumni friends and say: "Hey, lets go down to the bar and watch some Pusey." isaac101 Syracuse grad, class of '96
Ha! This could go on forever. Those postlines are fantastic. Man poor kid. You think 'Cuse fans will greet this kid on his visit with signs that say: "We Want Pusey!" Or I'm sure coaches watching tape of this guy said: "Get a load of Pusey!"
The day after a game....."Pusey sure took a beating last night" or "Pusey's sore after yesterday's workout." OK, I'll stop now.
(RB)"The whole scheme is designed to get Pusey..." (LB)"That QB is gonna have Pusey in his face all night..." (either)"Pusey changes the whole game plan..." The guys at ESPN'll have a field day for real.
Of course, it's probably best that he's not looking at some other schools: The Citadel: "Ten Years after Shannon Faulkner balked, Pusey is shaved in South Carolina" "Pusey coming to VMI" South Carolina: "Cocks get Pusey" Other notables include USC, Maryland, Oregon State and Wake Forest.
If you wake up early weekdays, you can listen to Mark Patrick On Sports and his "Cock Line". Gamecocks coach Lou Holtz (not really him but really a good job) calls in and they talk cock! Funny stuff with double meannings. No wonder I was such a fan of Threes Company.
Oh well.... Sorry Syracuse alumni, Pusey commited to Eastern Illinois University, the "Harvard of the Midwest." (Their words, not mine) A I-AA football program in the small Ohio Valley conference. Maybe he didn't want all the publicity that came along with going to a major university.

In other news, DeCody Fagg has given his oral commitment to Florida State. That is all... http://scout.theinsiders.com/a.z?s=16&p=8&c=1&nid=363515
