Back in action! DSL at home is so unreliable I couldn't get the autoreader to work until this morning. We've got another brutal week on our hands, no more tap-ins. But there were two who turned lemons into lemonade, and they are now one-two in the tumultuous yearly rankings as well. tab5g is first past the post this week, and he did it by betting on two road teams, DCU (big) and MET (small). Only Chicago's late comeback and Jose L. Couso's more moderate bet on DCU's one-goal victory denied him Play of the Week as well. Also solving the week #19 puzzle was NoSix who "just said no" to Pizza Hut, and also respected DC on the road. But there was one more competitor who stayed above sea level this week, the relentless jackrock, who still has an outside shot at a first division finish. He put big money on DC, and very little on the Burnzz. Continuing his strong comeback and cracking the top 10 this week is Revolt, who didn't get any of the road winners, but avoided the week's pitfalls by betting very low except on SJE. In 5th spot this week is Flashman, who was due for a breakout performance. He kept risk to a minimum in the DC game. Gaining promotion this week is BenC1357 thanks in part to respecting the wizards on the road. Meanwhile sljohn just keeps floating up the leader boards using the "next weeks action" strategy. He's now all the way to #8, in a week where you might think he'd have done poorly. Also cracking the top 10 is IASocFan. It seems that the old school traditional contenders are finally making their moves.
