I am going to Munich! I have read in a guidebook that there is a nice cafe in the stadium where one can drink tea, eat cake and watch the Bayern Munich training sessions. Is this true? I went to the Bayern Munich web site, and could not find any information (such as what time the team hits the training field, or how to go see it train or anything). Anybody know how to set this up??
Question Re: Watching Bayern Training I thought I posted this yesterday, but can't find the post or any replies. I am going to Munich in two weeks and would like to watch the guys at Bayern train. I am told I can go to the stadium, visit a small cafe with a view of the field, and have cake and tea while the Bayern guys are on the field training. Is this true? (I would also be fine with beer and sausages if cake is not an option). Does anyone know how to figure out the Bayern Munich training schedule?
Re: Question Re: Watching Bayern Training You put it in the general germany forum. I put it in here...look below!!! I will merge the threads. Listening to FCB champions (online subscription) they said they had the last open session. So not sure??
Re: Question Re: Watching Bayern Training They dont train at Allianz Arena. If you wanna watch them you have to go to Säbener Strasse (look here ) but so far i remember there is no cafe around.
Re: Question Re: Watching Bayern Training Vielen Dank pipin!! Post more often. Wir brauchen deutschere Leute im Forum. Mittel das mehr für Konversation.
Everything is afaik, not guaranteed: there are 2 practice sessions per day. Normally. The times are 10am and 4pm. But, the last practice session before a game is non-public and that is probably fridays. But it also depends on when they play (sat. or sun.), if it's a home or away game, if they had a CL game on wednesday's, if Coach Magath is a nice guy and gives them the day off, and some other factors. So, when do you travel to Munich?
I am going to be in town for the game against Berlin -- weekend of the 27th. So, Friday the 26th would be ideal, but since you say that would not be a public session, I guess it would mean Thursday the 25th is my only chance, oder?
Re: Question Re: Watching Bayern Training Not quite sure "deutschere" is an oft-used adjective, btw. I'd look over the second sentence too. Sorry, this is a habit for me.
Re: Question Re: Watching Bayern Training lol, thats fine, i enjoy picking up any advice on my german. i had taken spanish in hs and had taught myself german . I probably should of just taken german in hs. but i will more than likely take it in college.
