I wouldn't have a problem if they waited until he was done signing autographs and then gave him a piece of their mind - as long as they don't expect him to not respond in kind.

"You make me rich." Wow. That's offensive right there. Fine his A! That is clearly unsporting behavior!

Seriously - after all this time, and THAT is what gets under your skin? And some of your ilk have the balls to say WE'RE not real fans? We've had players kick balls directly at us - with pace - from less than 25 yards, gotten the finger, had numerous verbal altercations with players, had a coach show us his @$s, and you're complaining about "You make me rich"?

    THAT is rich.

    Agreed.

    Again, agreed. Speak your mind.

(Just don't expect folk to not respond in some fashion.)

hold on a second, I'm still trying to hold back the laughter....

wow guys, grow some skin, he didn't beat any of y'all up, he didn't curse at you, he had one simple phrase after god knows what you said to him. So let me get this straight, you come at him while he's SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS and give him hell, and he responds lightly with no profanity? Yikes  . That BASTARD! He must be the most overrated guy in all the US! Hell he only won the scoring title last year and in his first 7 or so games with the US has almost scored the most goals in US Qualifying HISTORY! Yea he's overrated alright, I can't wait until he goes to Europe and gets hacked down or dives, because no one dives in Europe.

Sorry I really don't mean this as trolling, more like an "are you seriously mad about this" response. That is all. Maybe your anger should be at the ref., he sure sounded like a winner...

Clarke got into a fight with a fan?

I know that isn't true, because Colin is an N. Irish boy who would kick the S out of anyone he got into it with, and I don't see any reports of someone getting the S kicked out of them.

Funny, but I'm not buyin' the "Eddie called one of our fans a bitch," either.

Go cry a river over in the corner, little boy.

Eddie hasn't done anything - uh huh. When was the last time a Crew players led the league in scoring? '98? Have something to bring to the table before you talk, a-munch.

An exert from a quality post.
*Sorry Fiddy, but it had to repeated.

As for the whole EJ situation(mostly directed at lil Drummer Boy).. I didn't "B" about it on here at all. Infact, I mentioned that EJ was the type of guy who wouldn't take that crap, and if you yell at him, he'll most likely respond with a "less-than-nice" response.

It still amazes me how some fans think they can yell **** at players and coaches at games, and expect them not to retaliate. Reminds me of SuperDrew's gatorade experience with Dema Kova. Now that was funny.

    I did miss it earlier.

And now I have some good rep to give out to Ryan.

Thanks, sweetie, for bringing that to my attention.

Chelsey why didn't you come to the game? They really could of used you!

Mike right after you left Johnson came out to the parking lot! He really didn't talk to anyone but I think he left with one the crew players!

I think "johnson" is OK. It's "johnson, eh?" that's the problem...

Like I said, that makes me smile. Yeah, we're so inconsequential and unimportant that the general manager watches games with us. Yep, we don't matter for squat.

Well then a prize for you, Chelsey, for not being a whinny little b on this issue like the rest of your Crew-mates.

Well, folks, its been fun. Enjoy your game with San Jose. And be ready to enjoy not having to play on the 24th.

No, but if you stuff a couple of Dallas fans into a monitor lizard, they can't post any more.

So the guy likes cheap blow jobs. Nothing to brag about.

You can't treat Chelsey like a cheap trollop. Only WE can treat her like that.

Is this your way of saying you're going to stop polluting the Crew forum? Gee I hope so, because FF was going to need lithium soon.

And then you got your massively witty Canadian quip in, and everything was right in the world, eh?

Good point. It is a two way street: if you dish it you have got to be able to take it.

I honestly don't believe any Crew fan was doing anything other than heckling an opposing player (could be wrong). You bought a ticket, you support your team, you can talk a little trash.

Hey, if you've got it, flaunt it! ;)

    Speaking of which....

Actually, it is my way of saying, "Your act has become tiresome." Seems like you could all use some lithium - or you forgot to take your medicine last night.

The book on last night - the ref sucked, the game was competitive, but you couldn't handle our depth, the ref exacerbated that fact, and you guys can't handle the truth.

    Enjoy.

Yes, I felt much better. A good friend of mine is engaged to a Canuck, and I always cracked jokes about her Canuckness but then I started feeling bad about it, so I stopped. Your Canadian exploits fill that void, and I am extremely grateful.

Crew fans are just angry, aren't they?

I suggest you guys go see a psychotherapist to unravel your issues.

First, who the **** is "they"?

Second, please refrain from acting like you know me. It's embarrassing to me.

Third...could you please jump off a cliff? And being that I'm a swell person, I'm willing to pay you the gas money in order for you to reach a suitable cliff. Or just walk to the nearest three-story building, and take the plunge.

    You won't be missed.

I don't have a problem with the Crew fans making noise - in fact, I'm glad to see some spirit up there.

I have two problems with other things - creating a physically threatening atmosphere (if it is as described here - "mob mentality" and all), and complaining because Eddie Johnson had the temerity to respond to the attitude he was getting from Crew fans.

Make that three - the seemingly growing list of things Clarke did. Fight with a fan, flip you guys off, etc. What crap.

Hey, you guys have a right to be pissed about the game and the ref. And boo Dallas all you want - they are in fact the other team. Hell, I don't even really think that there is anything wrong with booing the national team players when they are wearing their club colors (although I do think it is a bit asinine to not like them for the US when you're a US fan and they happen to play for a team other than your club team... esp. in the US). But I'm going to need more than just a few upset fools spewing electrons here to take any of the stuff about Eddie or Colin seriously.
