The Coach wanted to get rid of Jorge Costa and Sakota. But Pinto De Costa made the save. The only good news to come out of this is that Hugo Almeida will get more playing time as Benni Mccarthy backup.

Sokota is garbage, PDC leaving him in there for god knows what reason.

Jorge Costa is a Porto legend and you don't want to see him go out like that, and with that shaky Porto d, he is definitely someone you would want to keep in there for the experience.

Sokoto is ******** and should never have been brought...
Jorge Costa has been great for us and done very well but it time to look to the future and he should be on the bench for alot more time this season..

If this news are real, then Co Adriaanse is stupid, i can understand why he didn´t wanted Sokota...(i still don´t understand what is he doing in FC Porto...) but Jorge Costa?! Jorge Costa its a living symbol of FC Porto "mistica", he is the great captain, he and Vítor Baía are our memories from the past, the link between the generation of João Pinto, André, Domingos, Folha, Kostadinov, Timofte, Aloisio, etc etc and the glorious team of Mourinho...
Co Adriaanse can and should certainly give less playing time to Jorge Costa but try to get rid of him is just one of the things Dutch coaches often tend to do, when they are in big clubs outside Netherlands...

    P.S. Tks GOD for PdC...

Sokota is just another chapter...of this long going novel of "how to transform an ex-Benfica reject into a star at FC Porto"...

(enfim, Pinto da Costa a lutar contra os seus moinhos...como D. Quixote!)

Jorge Costa is over 33 and has 3 operations to his knees. Furthermore, everyone saw how he performed last season...how painfull was to watch in some games him being passed by some avarage forwards. This is his final season...and it seems to me inteligent to keep him despite being the weakest link for the center-back position. He is our captain, he is the BICHO...and like Jooão Pinto before he will have one season to pass on the armband...and a new nº2 will be appointed!

I do not understand why we got Sokota! This was a mistake. Some players still are in the top with 36 years old...Bergkamp was the man that manage to change the result in the last game against Porto and as evrybody saw he still is very fast.Jorge Costa is very slow but has a lot of experience and he still can be very usefull this season , but i agree with Ricardo Costa and Pedro Emanuel as first option with Pepe waiting for a chance because he is the faster one from all the defensive players.

I havent seen Bruno Alves play? Will he get a shot atleast?

Id like to see how good he is but its time to move on from Jorge Costa. He should still be in the team but should spend more time on the bench.

This coach won't last past x-mas. Sokota is a waste, i still don't understand why Porto signed him. J.Costa is not he used to be, but still he should stay to inspire the upcomers with what means to win.
