How old are you? There are much better players than Trez that have played for Juve over the years...

I'd assume that he's only ten years old. Those kind of people don't understand that Trezuguet is nowhere close to the likes of Sivori, Rossi or even Del Piero when it comes to discussing Juve legends.

Well Trez is certainly a good player but i dont see him a great or upcoming legend for Juventus. He wants to surpass platini yet hes a center forward while platini was a playmaker.

For me, I would say Patrick Vieira. :D

In no specific order: Zidane, Platini and Baggio.

There is a fierce rivalry between the two teams especially when Juve goes to Florence case and point if you had watched this years game when Fiorentina had the lead 3 different times and Juve came back and kept tying it and it ended in a 3-3 draw but not without controversy. The ultras are always causing a crap load of problems, there's usually alot of arrests but the games are usually UNBELIEVABLE and high scoring. I don't really know how this rivalry started (many say it started a long time ago but dont know why) but it is one of the best in Serie A but can't really hold a candle to the Milan or Roma derbys.

I'm not 100 per cent convinced but at least what you typed was more convincing than anything Duck Manson says. I just don't classify it as a fearce rivalry, just another clash of teams with a huge following.

First of all the Juventus-Fiorentina rivalry had to hit its climax when Baggio went to la vecchia signora, and I would have to say that Baggio was the best player to ever play for Juve. Baggio was Italy's arguably best player for me in the past 20 years and maybe of all time, he never won a world cup because the smart Italian coaches rarely ever used him, and when they did Italy made it to the finals. If Italy would have had half a brain in 1990, they would have started Baggio against Argentina, he was young, vibrant and he was playing incredible in the tournament. In 1994 he was given his chance and he did not dissapoint, his only mistake (the p.k. miss) was one mental lapse in a tournament were he ruled everything. In 98 maldini's terrible coaching was shown as Italy really never took off in the tournament and he never really played Baggio when it mattered. overall I would have to say that Lippi was retarded when he fell out with Italy's golden boy of the 90's, I don't know it seems like whenever Italy finds a diamond they seem to turn it into a dirty rock that is worthless, I.E. cassano. Players like Baggio and Cassano should not be punished or limited, in any way, they should be free to express the talents that god gave them, look at Cassano's wonder goal against Inter when he was a young unkown with Bari, and Baggio's wonderful time with Brescia were he was praised and he was able to do as he pleased and he turned Brescia into a respectable club with him at the helm. All in all Baggio was Juve's man, and Lippi always ruined him, seraching for ADP who was always MIA.

He should have been started in majority of matches and in the first two matches, Italy had a lousy striking partnership. Vialli was going into the tornament with an injury and the other striker was Carnevale, who was absolutely s*h*i*t*house.

    What does MIA mean?

    Missing In Action.

The reason Vialli was picked (and rightly too) was that he had an amazing season for Samp and was widely tipped to be the player of the tournament.

The emergence of Schillachi put the management in an awkward situation, as Vialli was undroppable basically. The man to lose out had to be Baggio sadly.

I don't hold any grudges against Vialli but he just didn't seem to be 100 per cent going into the Austria match and of course I know that Vialli had an amazing season. He scored seven goals in Doria's Cup-Winners' Cup campaign and he was the most influential player in Sampdoria's campaign. He also scored 10 goals in the Serie A season.

This will always be debated but as the tornament progressed, the striking partnership should have been Baggio and Schillaci.

What do you think of Carnevale? I thought that he was horse*s*h*i*t!

Carnevale was average TBH. It probably should have been Schillachi and Baggio up front, Aldo Serena got too much playing time.
