why's he playing in central defence, he's got too much ability on the ball to waste it like that. i think from the looks of it, his best position would be like a deep lying midfield playmaker, exactly like xavi, pirlo and alonso.
faack. goal lupoli anyway, maduro has been going back from midfield to center d for the last 3 years at least. his real position is the rijkaard one, a stopper i guess. right ahead of the defense and behind the midfield. henry nearly scores. chips JUST wide right. he is in center d right now because escude isnt playing (for whatever reason). faack! charisteas with a beauty that hits the post. with less injuries, maduro will see a bit less time this year and probably be shuffled from d to mid, seeing more time in mid as the season progresses (galasek is getting old).
